While Rams receiver Puka Nacua’s status is uncertain for Sunday’s matchup with the Jaguars, he’s not going to be out for too long.

Via multiple reporters, head coach Sean McVay said on Monday that Nacua is day-to-day with his ankle injury suffered in Sunday’s win over the Ravens. McVay noted he’s encouraged by Nacua’s scans and that it is not considered a long-term injury.

McVay noted that Nacua’s status is still uncertain for the Week 7 matchup against the Jaguars.

It was reported earlier on Monday that Nacua’s status is in doubt for the matchup, particularly with the Rams having a Week 8 bye following their trip to London.

Nacua currently leads the league with 54 catches. He’s tallied 616 receiving yards with two touchdowns, plus three carries for 52 yards with a TD.

McVay also noted that running back Blake Corum is considered day-to-day with his ankle injury. Plus, Tutu Atwell is on track to return from his hamstring injury in Week 7 after he did not play on Sunday.

It’s likely that the Rams will not have one of their best players when they take on the Jaguars in London on Sunday.

According to NFL Media, receiver Puka Nacua’s status is in doubt for Week 7 after he suffered an ankle sprain during yesterday’s victory over the Ravens.

Nacua suffered the injury during the second quarter of the contest. He tried to come back into the game during the second half, but the Rams then elected to hold him out.

The Rams have a bye after their London game, which could give Nacua a couple weeks of rest while missing only one game before the Week 9 contest against the Saints at home.

In his third season, Nacua is currently leading the league with 54 receptions. He’s recorded 616 receiving yards with two touchdowns, plus three carries for 52 yards with a TD.

The Rams are staying in Baltimore this week before heading across the pond to play the Jaguars.

Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua returned to Sunday’s win over the Ravens after injuring his ankle in the second quarter, but it’s not a sure thing that he will be back for Week 7’s game against the Jaguars in London.

Head coach Sean McVay told reporters after the win that he does not know if Nacua will be able to play in the game.

The Rams are staying in Baltimore and working out there until making the trip to London. Wednesday’s practice will be the first with an injury report updating Nacua’s status.

Nacua had two catches for 28 yards before his injury and did not have any catches after his return to the 17-3 victory.

The Jaguars’ defense had no answer for Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba today in Jacksonville.

Smith-Njigba caught eight passes for 162 yards and a touchdown as the Seahawks beat the Jaguars 20-12.

Passes to Smith-Njigba were responsible for most of Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold’s yardage. Darnold finished 16-for-27 for 295 yards, with two touchdowns and no interceptions.

Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence repeatedly struggled to get rid of the ball when the Seahawks’ pass rush was coming for him, taking seven sacks while completing 27 of 42 passes for 258 yards, with two touchdowns and no interceptions. DeMarcus Lawrence and Byron Murphy had two sacks each for Seattle.

The Jaguars wanted to get rookie receiver Travis Hunter involved in the offense, targeting him seven times, but Hunter managed just four catches for 15 yards. He also had a very costly penalty, costing the Jaguars a touchdown by lining up offside.

Jaguars running back Travis Etienne had been playing well for the first five games of this season, but today the Seahawks shut him down. Etienne managed just 27 yards on 12 carries.

Today’s results leave both the Seahawks and the Jaguars at 4-2 for the season.

Kyler Murray won’t be part of the Cardinals’ bid to avoid a fourth straight loss.

Murray missed two days of practice this week with a foot injury and was listed as questionable after returning for a limited workout on Friday. A report on Sunday morning indicated that he will miss the game and the Cardinals made it official 90 minutes ahead of their game in Indianapolis against the Colts.

Jacoby Brissett will start for the Cardinals and he’ll be backed up by Kedon Slovis, who was signed off of the practice squad this week.
