Dolphins defensive end Tony McDaniel was arrested Saturday on a misdemeanor battery charge.
He appeared in a Broward County courtroom Sunday morning. According to police and court records, McDaniel is accused of domestic violence.
McDaniel was released from jail at 10:00 a.m. Sunday on $3,500 bond.
This is McDaniel’s first arrest as a pro, but he was kicked off the University of Tennessee football team in 2005 for assaulting a fellow student during a pick-up basketball game.
