Cameron Artis-Payne’s 1-yard touchdown run capped an 11-play, 75-yard scoring drive as the Panthers chewed up nearly the first six minutes of the second half.
They followed that with a defensive stop, and momentum has shifted. The Bucs had the ball for almost 22 minutes in the first half but couldn’t score a touchdown and now must play catch up.
Bucs center Joe Hawley was taken to the locker room after being injured on his team’s first drive of the third quarter. The team announced that he has a knee injury and is questionable to return.
