Chargers coach Norv Turner denied Monday that his team used stickum in last week’s loss to the Broncos, via the Associated Press.

The league’s investigating a report that an equipment manager came onto the field with a towel which contained a sticky substance.

Turner said the team uses a towel, just like “a lot of teams in this league” to dry the ball, as well as players’ arms and gloves.

For a team that’s got enough problems right now, dealing with this one is clearly not on Turner’s wish list.
