Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed is playing through a Jones fracture in his left foot. He might have a bigger problem now.

Reed caught what would have been a 39-yard touchdown pass from Jordan Love if not for a holding penalty on right tackle Anthony Belton. He landed hard on his right shoulder on the tackle by Commanders defensive back Quan Martin, whose weight was fully on Reed as Reed landed on the turf.

Reed remained down on the field in obvious pain.

He walked off on his own, holding his right arm, and then went down again once on the sideline. After a brief visit to the sideline medical tent, Reed headed to the training room with a towel over his head.

Reed is questionable to return, the Packers report.

The Packers made a move in their offensive line for the second series, replacing Belton with Darian Kinnard at right tackle. Starter Zach Tom is inactive with an oblique injury.

There was no doubt Micah Parsons was playing in Thursday Night Football, but the Packers listed him as questionable nonetheless.

Parsons, who had limited practices all week, indeed is active and good to go against the Commanders.

He is expected to play more than the 29 snaps he played Sunday in his Packers debut.

Cornerback Nate Hobbs (knee) also is dressed and ready to play after a questionable designation.

The Packers, though, won’t have right tackle Zach Tom (oblique) or left guard Aaron Banks (ankle/groin). They, too, were questionable.

The team’s other inactives are safety Zayne Anderson (knee), cornerback Bo Melton, tight end Ben Sims and defensive lineman Warren Brinson.

Punter Tress Way (back) and defensive lineman Deatrich Wise (knee) are active for the Commanders after questionable designations.

The team’s inactives are punter Mitch Wishnowsky, quarterback Josh Johnson, running back Chris Rodriguez Jr., linebacker Ale Kaho, linebacker Kain Medrano, offensive tackle Trent Scott and offensive tackle George Fant. Johnson will serve as the emergency third quarterback.

The Commanders signed punter Mitch Wishnowsky to their practice squad on Wednesday and he’ll be available for them on Thursday night against the Packers.

Wishnowsky signed as insurance against Tress Way’s back injury. Way was listed as questionable to play, but the roster move indicates that the team thinks there’s some chance they will not have him in Green Bay.

Wishnowsky spent the last six seasons with the 49ers. He had a net average of 40.7 yards per kick during his time with the NFC West club.

Deiter was also elevated in Week 1 and played three special teams snaps. He appeared in every game for the Commanders last season.

The Packers announced a pair of elevations from their practice squad for Thursday night’s game against the Commanders.

They have called up offensive tackle Brant Banks and cornerback Micah Robinson. They also announced that they have placed defensive lineman Brenton Cox Jr. on injured reserve.

Banks signed with the Packers after going undrafted out of Rice and has experience at guard as well as tackle. The Packers listed right tackle Zach Tom and left guard Aaron Banks as questionable to play, so Banks will give them more depth on the offensive line.

Robinson was a seventh-round pick this year and signed to the practice squad after getting cut this summer. Cornerback Nate Hobbs is listed as questionable along with Tom and Banks.

There’s been no sign of concern out of Washington about quarterback Jayden Daniels’ right wrist all week and that didn’t change with the release of the final injury report ahead of Thursday night’s game against the Packers.

Daniels was listed as a full participant in practice for the third straight day and he did not receive an injury designation on the report.

Punter Tress Way (back) and defensive lineman Deatrich Wise (knee) did get designations. Both players are listed as questionable to play after limited practices on Wednesday. Way was listed as out on Monday while Wise was listed as a full participant on the first two days of the week.

The Commanders signed former 49ers punter Mitch Wishnowsky to the practice squad on Thursday. They can make elevations to the active roster on Thursday, so he’ll get the call if Way isn’t able to play.
