NBCSN to Deliver Live Coverage of More Than 60 College Basketball Games
Tennessee, Iowa, Xavier, Saint Louis, La Salle and Temple to Appear This Season

NBCSN to Air Live Coverage of A-10 and CAA Conference Tournaments
STAMFORD, Conn. – October 31, 2013 – NBCSN will present more than 60 college basketball games during the 2013-14 season, including over 40 regular-season matchups, three holiday tournaments featuring Big East, Big Ten and ACC schools, and coverage of two conference tournaments.
NBCSN’s 2013-14 college basketball coverage includes:
- 43 regular-season games across the A-10, CAA and Ivy League
- 11 games across three holiday tournaments, including Xavier-Iowa in the Battle 4 Atlantis and Ole Miss-Georgia Tech in the Barclays Center Classic
- Seven conference tournament games, including the A-10 Championship Quarterfinals and the CAA Conference Semifinals and Championship Game
ATLANTIC 10 ON NBCSN
NBCSN will air 25 A-10 regular season games featuring all 13 member schools, including Massachusetts, La Salle, VCU, Saint Louis, Saint Joseph’s, Rhode Island, George Washington, Richmond, Dayton, Duquesne, George Mason, St. Bonaventure, and Fordham. In addition, NBCSN’s A-10 telecast schedule boasts 11 games featuring teams from last season’s NCAA Tournament, including 2012-13 A-10 regular season and A-10 tournament champion Saint Louis, and La Salle, who advanced to the Sweet Sixteen.
Coverage of the A-10 on NBCSN begins Saturday, December 14, at 3 p.m. ET, when Massachusetts hosts Northern Illinois. NBCSN’s A-10 regular-season coverage concludes Thursday, March 6 at 8 p.m. ET, when George Mason visits La Salle. NBCSN will also provide comprehensive coverage of the A-10 Championship quarterfinals starting at noon ET on Friday, March 14.
NBCSN will also air three A-10 women’s basketball matchups, including a doubleheader on Sunday, Jan. 5, featuring George Washington-Saint Joseph’s at 1 p.m. ET, followed by Dayton-Saint Louis at 3 p.m. ET.
CAA ON NBCSN
NBCSN’s CAA regular-season coverage begins Thursday, Nov. 14 at 7:30 p.m. ET when Towson hosts Temple. NBCSN will air eight regular-season CAA games featuring seven member schools, including 2012-13 regular-season champion Northeastern, 2013 CAA Conference Tournament champion James Madison, College of Charleston, Delaware, Drexel, Towson, and William and Mary.
In addition to its regular-season coverage, NBCSN will provide live coverage of the CAA Conference Semifinals on Sunday, March 9, beginning at 2:30 p.m. ET, and the CAA Championship Game on Monday, March 10 at 7 p.m. ET.
IVY LEAGUE ON NBCSN
NBCSN will air seven Ivy League games this season, highlighted by Princeton-Penn, one of the oldest rivalries in NCAA Division I basketball, on Saturday, Jan. 11 at 6 p.m. ET, from The Palestra in Philadelphia, Pa.
Regular-season Ivy League coverage concludes on Friday, Mar. 7 at 7:30 p.m. ET when Yale hosts Harvard, who upset New Mexico, the No. 3 seed in the West Regional, in the second round of the NCAA Tournament last year.
BATTLE 4 ATLANTIS, BARCLAYS CENTER CLASSIC AND GOVERNOR’S HOLIDAY HOOPS CLASSIC ON NBCSN
NBCSN will present live coverage of 11 combined games from the Battle 4 Atlantis, Barclays Center Classic and Governors Holiday Hoops Classic tournaments this season.
BATTLE 4 ATLANTIS
Featuring Kansas, Villanova, Tennessee, USC, Iowa, Wake Forest, Xavier and UTEP, the 2013 Battle 4 Atlantis field combines 191 NCAA Tournament appearances, 25 Final Four appearances and 5 National Championships.
NBCSN will broadcast the daily 7 p.m. ET and 9:30 p.m. ET games Thursday-Saturday nights. NBCSN’s coverage will begin with a Big East vs. Big Ten matchup between Xavier and Iowa, live from the Atlantis resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. Then at 9:30 p.m. ET, Tennessee takes on Texas-El Paso.
BARCLAYS CENTER CLASSIC
The Barclays Center Classic, presented by Continental Tire, will feature Ole Miss, Georgia Tech, St. John’s and Penn State. Coverage begins on Friday, Nov. 29 at 4:30 p.m. with Ole Miss-Georgia Tech, followed by the consolation and championship games on Saturday, Nov. 30. The Barclays Center Classic is part of the BROOKLYN HOOPS™ platform at Barclays Center.
GOVERNOR’S HOLIDAY HOOPS CLASSIC
Coverage of the Governor’s Holiday Hoops Classic doubleheader on NBCSN starts Saturday, Dec. 21 at 3 p.m. ET with James Madison-Hampton, followed by Virginia Tech-VCU.
