Tour de France Coverage Delivers Best TV Viewership Since 2012, Through Stage 9

STAMFORD, Conn. – Sept. 10, 2020 – NBC Sports’ live coverage of the 107th Tour de France continues this weekend with Stages 14 and 15 on CNBC, NBC Sports Gold and Peacock.

On Saturday, live coverage of Stage 14, which begins in Clermont Ferrand, France, starts at 7 a.m. ET on CNBC, while Sunday’s coverage of Stage 15 begins at 6:30 a.m. ET from Lyon, France.

NBC Sports’ Tour de France coverage through Stage 9 averaged 421,000 viewers across NBCSN and NBC – the best at this point in the competition since 2012, and up 44% after nine stages last year (293,000).

Following today’s Stage 12 victory by Marc Hirschi (Team Sunweb), Slovenia’s Primož Roglič (Jumbo-Visma) currently sits in first place with a 21-second lead over defending champion Egan Bernal (INEOS Grenadiers) of Colombia.

NBC Sports’ Tour de France coverage continues tomorrow with the Tour de France Pre-Race Show at 6 a.m. ET on NBCSN, followed by live coverage of Stage 13 at 6:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN, NBC Sports Gold, and Peacock.

NBC Sports’ live coverage of all 21 stages culminates with the final stage on Sunday, September 20, live at 9:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN, NBC Sports Gold, and Peacock.
