Coverage Kicks Off With Red Bull Frozen Rush on Sunday, March 1 at 2 p.m. E.T.

Burr Ridge, Ill. – February 25, 2015 – NBC Sports Ventures and Red Bull Media House today announced the 2015 television schedule for the Red Bull Signature Series, featuring 20 hours of coverage of the most progressive collection of action sports events in the world. Sal Masekela, the definitive voice in action sports, will return as the host of the Red Bull Signature Series for the fourth consecutive year.

“We’re excited to kick off and deliver the fourth successful season of the Red Bull Signatures Series on NBC,” said Eric Grilly, President, Alli Sports, a division of the NBC Sports Group. “Innovation and progression are core elements of action sports. Through our partnership with Red Bull Media House, we have once again developed events and coverage which continue to fuel the growth of action sports and the Signature Series.”

Here is a preview of what’s to come in 2015:

NBC’s coverage of the 2015 Red Bull Signature Series kicks off on Sunday, March 1 at 2 p.m. E.T., with the return of Red Bull Frozen Rush, an innovative off-road head-to-head truck race on the ski slopes of Maine’s Sunday River Resort.

In 2015, NBC’s coverage of the Series will also include Red Bull Double Pipe, Saturday, March 14 at 1 p.m. E.T., Simple Sessions, Sunday, June 14 at 1:30 p.m. E.T., Cape Fear, Saturday, October 17 at 3 p.m. E.T., Red Bull Straight Rhythm, Sunday, November 29 at 1 p.m. E.T., and Red Bull Rampage, Sunday, December 27 at 3 p.m. E.T.

In addition, the Series also will showcase new events in 2015, including Red Bull Hart Lines. Debuting on Sunday, August 2 at 2 p.m. E.T., Ryan Sheckler sets out to create a first-of-its-kind high energy, high impact skateboarding contest utilizing a unique course and format never seen before. Taking place at Detroit’s Hart Plaza, the innovative course design will be compromised of two lanes, and incorporates elements of both strategy and timing into the competition.

“The Signature Series will continue to fuel the evolution of action sports and provide consumers with a mind blowing experience whether on-site or in front of any screen,” said Sean Eggert, Head of Sports, Red Bull North America. “From the world’s best snowboarders competing in side-by-side halfpipes, to the top dirt bike riders going head-to-head on an “unwound” supercross track, the Red Bull Signature Series continues to push the boundaries of sports progression.”

NBC Sports Ventures, a division of the NBC Sports Group, will continue to serve as the sales and marketing arm of the Series, offering brands a chance to access the coveted 18-34 demographic NBC Sports and Red Bull Media House reach. This year, the Red Bull Signature Series has partnered with global brand leaders Samsung, GoPro and Polaris to offer one-of-a-kind marketing experiences onsite and on air.
