The Spanish champions say the transfer includes a buyback option that is valid for two years, at a transfer fee of 10 million euros ($11 million).

Barcelona signed Halilovic from Dinamo Zagreb in 2014 for 2.2 million euros. He played for its reserve team before joining Sporting Gijon on loan last season.
