While many are anticipating Sunday’s Der Klassiker between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, the Bundesliga offered up plenty of action between Friday and Saturday.

[ PREMIER LEAGUE: Saturday roundup | Sunday preview ]

Borussia Monchengladbach 2-0 Wolfsburg

‘Gladbach continues to find its footing after a nightmare start, as Ibrahima Traore and substitute Havard Nordtvelt scored twice in four late second-half minutes for the hosts. USMNT winger/back Fabian Johnson played 69 minutes in the win before departing with a yellow card.

Ingolstadt 2-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

The hosts here also got a pair of late second-half goals, as Pascal Gross and Stefan Lex each scored their first goals of the season, lifting the new Bundesliga side into fifth place. USMNT midfielder Alfredo Morales played the final 10 minutes for Ingolstadt. Timmy Chandler remains out of the 18 for the visitors.

Hertha Berlin 3-0 Hamburger SV

The bad news for U.S. fans is that Hertha is still not using John Anthony Brooks. The good news for Hertha supporters is that coach Pal Dardai has the club all the way up to fourth in the Bundesliga. Salomon Kalou netted early before Vedad Ibisevic scored a brace between the 76th and 78th minutes.
