Eriksen has won the Player of the Year award at Tottenham in two of his three full campaigns since arriving at the Lane in 2013 from Ajax and is a fans favorite with his set-piece deliveries and silky passing and skills on the ball.

In each of the last two seasons Eriksen hasn’t missed a single game for Spurs, helping them to challenge for the title last season as they eventually finished third and qualified for the UEFA Champions League. He is obviously a key part of Pochettino’s plans and along with Harry Kane and Dele Alli he is still incredibly young and his best is yet to come.

Speaking to Spurs’ website about the new deal, Eriksen revealed his delight.
