This is Watford’s third season in the Premier League. The previous two, they finished dead-last.
However, Quique Sanchez Flores has this Watford team looking like a side capable of staying up in the Premier League, currently sitting 13th on the table through ten matches.

After beating Stoke City 2-0 at the Britannia last weekend, Flores said his team is playing very confidently, earning them Premier League respect.
The most positive thing is we’re playing like a confident team. We’ve won the respect of the league.
For example, Arsenal didn’t rest any players against us even though they had an important [Champions League] match three days afterwards.
We feel we are working well and the other teams recognize that we are doing it the right way.
Despite scoring just eight goals, tied for the league-low, Watford has still managed to earn a record of 3-4-3 through ten matches. One of the reasons for that has been keeping a strong defensive shape in their own half, conceding just ten goals on the year.

A good sign for the Hornets is that Troy Deeney finally got on the scoresheet at Stoke, scoring his first goal of the season. After tallying 20+ goals in each of the past three campaigns, if Deeney can continue to grab some goals in the Premier League, Watford will continue to impress.
Flores’ side faces a tough test this weekend, hosting West Ham on Saturday (Watch live, 11 a.m. ET online via Live Extra). The Hammers sit third on the table and are unbeaten on the road, taking 13 of a possible 16 points away from Upton Park.
