NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport later chimed in, adding that Likely will undergo surgery, though Rapoport also said Week 1 was a possibility. Likely was set to push Mark Andrews for work out of the gates, but the lost practice time will almost certainly prevent that from happening. He could still increase his role as the season goes on, but fantasy managers should plan on him continuing his high-end backup duties to start the year.
