Vaughn Dalzell breaks down his best bet in the Cincinnati Reds and Colorado Rockies matchup.

Reds (+110) at Rockies (-130): O/U 12.5

The second game of the Reds and Rockies kicks off with what appears to be a bullpen game between Chase Anderson and Brandon Williamson.

Williamson is making the first start of his career and it comes at Coors Field, which isn’t ideal. The LHP will take on a Colorado squad that is hitting top 10 in BA, OPS, SLG and OBP at home and scored 9 runs yesterday.

Anderson has pitched 5.0 total innings in two games this season and yet to allow an earned run, so neither pitcher should go five innings.

The Reds are 6-14 on the ML away from home, including 0-2 in the past two and 3-5 in the previous eight road games. The

Rockies are 6-2 in the past eight home games and 2-0 in the last two. Over the last eight home games for Colorado, the Rockies scored 51 combined runs (6.3 runs per game).

I will back the Rockies’ offense at home versus a rookie pitcher and take the Colorado ML (-130). I believe Colorado could sweep, but at least win the series 2-1 against Cincy.

Pick: Rockies ML (Risk 1u)
