Juan Soto went 3-for-4 and crushed a pair of home runs on Tuesday night, powering the Padres to a 4-0 victory over the Giants in San Francisco.
The 24-year-old superstar got the scoring started in the opening inning as he tagged John Brebbia for a 396-foot solo shot. He then put the game away with an impressive opposite-field 398-foot two-run bomb off of Ryan Walker in the seventh. Soto also drew a walk in the contest, reaching base safely in four of his five plate appearances. On the season, he’s now slashing .276/.410/.524 with a career-high 35 home runs, 108 RBI and 10 stolen bases across 692 plate appearances.
