Cam Eden has made the Blue Jays’ Wild Card roster.
Eden is there almost exclusively because of his speed. The 25-year-old went 53-for-57 in stolen base attempts in Triple-A this season, so the Blue Jays will pick their spots for when to maximize his value.

The two runs would prove to be the difference in the win. The 29-year-old slugger is now hitting .165/.249/.317 with seven homers and 20 RBI across 185 plate appearances.
Gomez becoming trustworthy closer for Twins
Eric Samulski discusses Twins closer Yoendrys Gomez's recent performances on the mound, in which he's had two saves in his last three appearances and is turning out to be a reliable option in Minnesota's bullpen.
  • SEA Relief Pitcher #75
Andrés Muñoz struck out one batter in a scoreless ninth inning to convert the save against the Orioles on Tuesday.
Muñoz was called on in the ninth inning to close out the game with a two-run lead. He worked around a base hit, striking out one batter to secure the win for the Mariners and his 11th save of the season. Fantasy managers can breathe a sigh of relief after he departed Sunday’s game with a trainer due to lower back tightness.
  • SEA Starting Pitcher #36
Logan Gilbert allowed one run with ten strikeouts over seven innings in a win over the Orioles on Tuesday.
Gilbert surrendered a run on two hits in the first inning. He then settled in nicely, dominating over six more shutout frames while collecting a season-high ten strikeouts on an impressive 19 whiffs. The 29-year-old right-hander will take a 3.43 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, and a 92/20 K/BB ratio across 86 2/3 innings into a start against the Red Sox in Seattle on Sunday.
  • BAL Starting Pitcher #63
Brandon Young allowed three runs with two strikeouts over six innings in a loss against the Mariners on Tuesday.
Young kept the Mariners scoreless through two innings, then gave up a run on two walks and a hit in the third. It was the only run Young allowed through six innings before he allowed the first two runners to reach in the seventh. That would end his day at 92 pitches. Both inherited runners would come in to score, spoiling an otherwise solid day on the mound. The 27-year-old right-hander will take a 3.18 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, and a 44/23 K/BB ratio across 62 1/3 innings into a start against the Dodgers in Los Angeles on Sunday.
  • CLE Right Fielder #24
Chase DeLauter is day-to-day with a small fracture in his right ribcage.
DeLauter was unavailable to pinch-hit during Tuesday’s contest against the Brewers after an MRI revealed a bone bruise and a small fracture in his right ribcage. Guardians manager Stephen Vogt told reporters he believes DeLauter will be able to play through the issues but didn’t rule out the possibility of a trip to the injured list. The 24-year-old rookie was able to participate in baseball activities prior to the game, which is a positive sign. There should be a clearer indication concerning his next steps at some point later this week.
  • DET 3rd Baseman #33
Colt Keith underwent X-rays on his right wrist that came back negative for any fractures.
Keith appears poised to return to Detroit’s lineup for Wednesday afternoon’s series finale against Houston after being scratched from Tuesday’s contest with right wrist soreness. The 24-year-old blasted three homers during Monday’s game at Daikin Park and has homered four times in his last four contests.
  • FA Starting Pitcher #27
    Padres released LHP Marco Gonzales.
Gonzales was cut loose by San Diego after struggling to a bloated 7.99 ERA across 47 1/3 innings for Triple-A El Paso this season. The 34-year-old was in Padres camp as a non-roster invitee this spring. He hasn’t pitched in the majors since the 2024 campaign.
  • HOU Shortstop #72
Raynel Delgado went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored in Houston’s 4-2 win over the Tigers on Tuesday.
Delgado got the start at third base on Tuesday. After knocking a base hit and scoring Houston’s first run on a wild pitch in the fifth inning, he came through in a big spot in the eighth, driving in two runs on a single to give the Astros the lead. The 26-year-old infielder isn’t likely to get much playing time outside of the occasional start, but has plenty of stolen base upside after swiping 24 bags in the minors if he finds himself in the lineup more a few times a week.
  • DET 2nd Baseman #50
Hao-Yu Lee went 2-for-3 with a double, one run scored, and one RBI against the Astros on Tuesday.
Lee was in part responsible for both of Detroit’s runs in Tuesday’s loss to the Astros, starting with a base hit in the second inning to drive in a run. He later led off the eighth inning with a double and scored on a sacrifice fly. The 23-year-old infielder is hitting .239/.271/.370 with two homers and 10 RBI across 96 plate appearances.
