Vladimir Guerrero Jr. drove in a run while going 2-for-3 in a win for the Blue Jays on Tuesday over the Rockies.
On top of the two hits, Guerrero also drew a pair of walks. He’s come out swinging to begin 2026 — well, swinging and working free passes — and over the first five games of the season, he’s slashing .375/.543/.375. The only “complaint” would be a lack of power, but fantasy managers know that’s coming.

Brendan Donovan (hip) is out of the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Rangers.
The positive news here is that it doesn’t sound like a potential injured list situation with Donovan is officially day-to-day following an early exit from Friday’s game with left hip tightness. The 29-year-old infielder dealt with some groin discomfort earlier this month and has implied that the lower-body issues might be related to the sports hernia surgery he underwent last October. He’s gotten off to an excellent start in his Mariners debut, hitting .304/.437/.518 with three homers, eight RBI and one steal through 18 games
Baldwin scorching to start the season for Atlanta
James Schiano discusses Drake Baldwin's hot start to the season and the metrics that show why he may challenge Cal Raleigh for the best hitting catcher.
  • HOU Left Fielder #10
Joey Loperfido (quad) is out of the lineup for Saturday’s contest against the Cardinals.
Loperfido will get some additional time off to rest and recover after leaving Friday’s game with right quad tightness. Yordan Alvarez heads out to patrol left field in his absence.
  • HOU 3rd Baseman #15
Isaac Paredes (leg) is in the lineup at DH for Saturday’s showdown against the Cardinals.
It’s a positive sign to see Paredes in the lineup at all following an early exit from Friday’s game against the Cardinals due to a leg issue. The 27-year-old third baseman will likely be limited to DH for the remainder of the weekend with Carlos Correa at third base and Nick Allen at shortstop.
  • AZ Left Fielder #12
Diamondbacks activated OF Lourdes Gurriel Jr. from the 10-day injured list.
Gurriel’s lightning-quick return to Arizona’s lineup comes just over seven months after undergoing surgery to repair a torn ACL in his right knee last September. The 32-year-old impending free agent, who hit .248/.295/.418 with 19 homers, 80 RBI and a career-high 10 stolen bases in 546 plate appearances last year, will make his season debut during Saturday’s showdown against the Dodgers. His return should provide a much-needed lift for the Diamondbacks offense, which has been forced to roll with Tim Tawa and Jorge Barrosa prominent roles of late. Gurriel doesn’t offer massive fantasy upside at this stage of his career, but he’s worthy of a roster spot in deeper mixed leagues.
  • AZ 1st Baseman #21
Diamondbacks designated 1B Luken Baker for assignment.
Baker loses his spot on Arizona’s active roster with Lourdes Gurriel Jr. (knee) returning from the injured list. The 29-year-old went 1-for-5 in three games for the Diamondbacks.
  • BAL Relief Pitcher #71
Dietrich Enns (foot) will begin a minor league rehab assignment on Saturday with Triple-A Norfolk.
Enns hit the injured list earlier this month following a scary-looking foot infection. The encouraging news here is that 34-year-old southpaw is doing better and should only need a handful of rehab outings to get back up to speed before returning to Baltimore’s relief mix.
  • ATL Center Fielder #23
Michael Harris II is on the bench for Saturday’s showdown against the Phillies.
White, who has been battling plantar fasciitis recently, draws his first start since April 7 with Michael Harris II on the bench against Phillies ace Cristopher Sánchez.
  • PHI 1st Baseman
Phillies selected the contract of INF/OF Felix Reyes from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
Reyes receives his first promotion to the big leagues after spending six seasons in Philadelphia’s system since 2021. The unheralded 25-year-old has hit .333/.345/.654 with six homers in 18 games at the Triple-A level this year. He’ll likely fill a bench role for the Phillies and is unlikely to play enough to matter in fantasy leagues.
  • PHI Relief Pitcher #51
Phillies recalled RHP Seth Johnson from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
Johnson returns to Philadelphia’s bullpen with closer Jhoan Duran hitting the injured list with an oblique strain. The 27-year-old righty was shelled for five runs over 1 1/3 innings earlier this week in his season debut. He’s likely ticketed for low-leverage work.
  • PHI Relief Pitcher #59
Phillies placed RHP Jhoan Duran on the 15-day injured list, retroactive to April 15, with a left oblique strain.
At this point, someone should probably encase Mason Miller in bubble wrap. It’s been a brutal start to the season for elite closers, with Duran the latest to hit the injured list. The hard-throwing 28-year-old stopper is likely facing a multi-week absence, even in a best-case scenario, after logging five saves to accompany a microscopic 1.35 ERA across 6 2/3 innings of work this season. There should be an official timeline from the Phillies at some point soon. Orion Kerkering has the stuff to close games and José Alvarado’s previous closing experience make him a potential option in certain matchups. However, Brad Keller is the logical choice to take over the ninth inning in Philadelphia, which makes him worthy of a roster spot in all fantasy leagues.
