Eagles TE Eli Stowers (hamstring) was limited on Thursday.

Stowers had a rough training camp and has been sidelined since late August by the hamstring injury. He does not need to be rostered in 12-team leagues.

Stowers is only notable because of his draft capital. The second-round rookie has not carved out a role for himself and would not be fantasy-relevant if the Eagles activate him from injured reserve.
  • PHI Tight End #87
Stowers had his 21-day practice window opened after he started the season on the injured reserve due to hamstring and quad injury. The Eagles also opened fellow TE Grant Calcaterra’s practice window; Calcaterra was also limited due to a back injury. Both have a chance to return Week 6 against the Panthers or Week 7 against the Cowboys.
  • PHI Tight End #87
Stowers entered his rookie season unlikely to contribute in a meaningful way but will now be forced to miss the next four games, at minimum, while on injured reserve, something that could stunt his growth at the professional level further. Dallas Goedert remains a locked-in TE1 in fantasy circles moving forward.
  • PHI Tight End #87
Stowers is listed as the Eagles’ co-TE3, so even if he is absent, that will not be a huge deal. The team is undoubtedly hoping he develops over the course of the season, so tracking his recovery is worthwhile. For now, though, TE Dallas Goedert is the clear-cut tight end to roster in Philadelphia.
  • PHI Tight End #87
Stowers has been dealing with a hamstring injury he suffered in the preseason and he opens Week 1 with a limited practice. The 23-year-old rookie was already in line for a limited role this season after a subpar training camp but now may be limited even further with a soft tissue injury. Stowers is off fantasy radars in redraft leagues but his absence propels Dallas Goedert into borderline top-10 tight end territory.
  • PHI Tight End #87
Stowers missed his second straight practice Tuesday as he deals with a hamstring issue. There is no indication this is a major injury yet, but something to keep an eye on as the Eagles prepare for preseason Week 3. The rookie second-round pick has struggled in camp and comes into the NFL as a raw tight end prospect. Don’t expect the Eagles’ tight end rotation to change drastically should Stowers miss time in the 2026 regular season.
  • PHI Tight End #87
Stowers was somewhat involved in the first half but the rookie tight end had a long gain of just six yards in the first exhibition game of the season. The 23-year-old has significant long-term upside because of his athleticism, but it’s very clear — at least early on — that Stowers has work to do before he’s a fantasy option in 2026.
  • PHI Tight End #87
Stowers is reportedly still working with the third-team offense. The rookie tight end has been a late-round target for best ball drafters hoping to secure late-season production from their TE3. While that outcome is still possible, it would be nice to see Stowers gain a little ground this month.
  • PHI Tight End
Kempski believes Mundt’s blocking ability keeps him in the TE2 spot for now. He also notes that “Stowers was quiet during spring practices, and even seemed limited in practice due to an injury,” sporting a sleeve on one leg. Missing spring practice reps would certainly slow down a rookie’s development. Regardless, if Stowers is going to show up in the box score, he will likely do so late in the 2026 season. For now, treat him as a worthwhile best ball TE3, and a name to know for late-season waiver wire purposes in re-draft.

Stowers (6’4/239) was originally a four-star quarterback recruit at Texas A&M. After two seasons of holding the clipboard, he transferred to New Mexico State. Instead of having him back up Diego Pavia, the Aggies staff moved him to tight end and he immediately took to the position, going for 366 yards as a junior. Pavia and Stowers both transferred to Vanebrilt and the duo’s connection blossomed. Stowers racked up 638 yards in 2024 and 769 yards in 2025. With 62 grabs and four scores, Stowers won the John Mackey Award as the nation’s top tight end. His draft stock hit new heights at the NFL Combine when he set the vertical record at 45.5” and the tight end broad jump record at 11’3”. Add in a 4.51 40 and you’ve got a 90th-percentile athlete, even when adjusting for his slightly undersized build. Stowers has too much speed for linebackers and is still too big for most corners. At his best, he’s a matchup nightmare for opposing defensive coordinators. His blocking is still a work in progress and he’ll likely top out as a functional inline blocker in the pros. Even if that’s the case, he could wind up as the best pass-catcher in the class when all is said and done. That, however, may take a year to materialize. Stowers will likely spend his rookie season rotating in behind Dallas Goedert. Goedert is a free agent after 2026, meaning Stowers could take over the starting gig in his second season.

Colston Loveland caught 6-of-7 targets for 65 yards and a touchdown in the Bears’ Week 6 win against the Falcons.

It was Loveland’s first score of the 2026 season, and it came with Caleb Williams back under center for Chicago after three weeks on the sideline with a hamstring injury. Loveland couldn’t quite come down with a second touchdown grab in the second half on a poorly thrown green zone pass from Williams. Loveland was second on the team in targets behind Luther Burden III, who had eight looks from Williams on the day. A relative lack of pass volume in the Bears offense could limit Loveland’s overall opportunity, though a concerted effort to get the tight end involved in the red zone could make him a 12-team league option going forward. Loveland gets the Patriots in Week 7.

Jordan Davis went to the locker room in the middle of Week 6 against the Panthers with a leg injury.

Jordan Davis was at the bottom of a pile on a 3rd-down run in the fourth quarter and remained down on the field. He was slow to get up and did leave the field under his own power, but he was moving very gingerly as he walked into the locker room. It’s unclear right now if the injury is to his ankle or his knee, but we should get an update after the game.

Tyler Huntley completed 19-of-31 passes for 165 yards and one touchdown in the Ravens’ 13-10, Week 6 loss to the Browns.

Huntley led the Ravens on a 10-play drive that ended with a two-yard touchdown pass to tight end Josh Cuevas to start the game. On the Ravens’ second drive, Huntley and Cuevas would connect on a 29-yard pass, only for that drive to end in a field goal to put the Ravens up 10-0 early. Unfortunately for Huntley and the Ravens, that would be all the scoring they would manage, as they were kept off the board for the remainder of the game thanks to a stout Browns defense that managed to sack Huntley three times and force a turnover from Derrick Henry. This was far different than last week’s start against the Falcons, when Huntley was responsible for three total touchdowns, and a reminder of the high-variance play we have come to expect from him. With the Ravens now sitting at 4-2 on the season, they will hopefully have Lamar Jackson (ankle) back under center next week when they play host to the Bengals.

Deshaun Watson completed 16-of-26 passes for 164 yards in the Browns’ 13-10, Week 6 win over the Ravens.

Watson has now taken 13 sacks over the last two weeks. The Browns’ QB1 was under pressure all afternoon by the Ravens, but found himself in position to lead a game-winning drive with 1:59 left on the game clock. Watson started the drive with a nine-yard completion to Jaleel McLaughlin, but came up big on a third-and-five when he found Jerry Jeudy for a 33-yard gain to move into Ravens territory and position his team for the game-winning field goal attempt. Three plays later, Andre Szmyt, who missed the go-ahead field goal earlier in the game, converted on a 37-yard try to propel the Browns into first place in the AFC North. It wasn’t a pretty game for Watson, but that’s nothing new. He has thrown for just 319 yards and one touchdown in his last two games and has just two touchdowns in his last three games. He shouldn’t be viewed as anything more than a low-end QB2 in next week’s road game against the Titans.

Patriots RG Ben Brown was forced from New England’s Week 6 game against the Jets with a right leg injury.

It’s an inconceivable development, as the Pats already lost LG Alijah Vera-Tucker (hamstring) and RT Morgan Moses (ankle) earlier on Sunday. Brown’s injury appeared to be very, very serious. Walter Rouse, the Pats’ last healthy reserve OL, will finish the game in Brown’s place.

Patriots RT Morgan Moses suffered an ankle injury in New England’s Week 6 game against the Jets and will not return.

Moses went down early, but the Patriots waited until midway through the second half to rule him out. The move comes after LG Alijah Vera-Tucker was ruled out earlier with a hamstring issue. Not ideal, to put it mildly. Rookie first-rounder Caleb Lomu is finishing the game in Moses’ place.

Kendal Daniels was taken off the field on a stretcher in Week 6 against the Bears.

It was an ugly scene that saw the game paused for nearly fifteen minutes while medics tended to the rookie linebacker after he hit his head during a tackle attempt. It was unclear whether Daniels was able to move his extremities before exiting the field. We would expect Daniels to miss significant time.
