Bermuda will mark just the eighth career start on Tour for the 22-year-old Pak, who made two cuts in seven starts in 2020-21, including a T-39 at the Barracuda Championship and a T-51 at the 2020 U.S. Open where he earned low-amateur honors. He missed the cut in his pro debut last year at the Palmetto Championship at Congaree, however, the star Seminole enjoyed a stellar spring during his senior season where he was in the top 10 in six straight events, including his eighth career collegiate win at the Calusa Cup. That win tied him with Nolan Henke for most in Florida State history. Pak finished fifth in the NCAA Championships and was a first-team All-American, the ACC Player of the Year and the Haskins Award winner. Pak played on the victorious 2021 U.S. Walker Cup team (0-3) and was the No. 1 ranked player on the PGA Tour University rankings to gain status on the Korn Ferry Tour for the rest of 2021 (he has not made a start yet in KFT action).

The 22-year-old Pak, winner of the Ben Hogan Award, Fred Haskins Award and Jack Nicklaus Award for top collegiate golfer, also was low amateur at the U.S. Open in November (he finished T-51). He won eight times over four years at FSU and set a record for low single-season stroke average (69.56) as a sophomore. “I think staying at Florida State for four years was the best move I could have made,” he told media on Tuesday. “I learned so much. I think my game is really improved. I think Coach (Trey) Jones really got me to a point where I think I’m ready to compete at the next level on the PGA Tour.” Additionally, Pak was a first-team All-American and ACC Player of the Year, and he was ranked No. 1 on the PGA Tour University rankings.
