The 31-year-old was born in England, but represents Wales, a common detail, following on from Ian Woosnam and Jamie Donaldson. He has some way to go before emulating either, however. He is also fighting to revive the high hopes of what he would achieve when he was in college at East Tennessee State. Now 31-years-old, he has been hitting the Challenge Tour since 2007 (as an amateur) and 2013 as a professional. For a long time, however, he would find greatest success on the Sunshine Tour. Indeed, in 2018 he won the Cape Town Open and, whilst it took a little time, that success fed into the 2019 Challenge Tour season, where he landed a win in the Slovakia Challenge. He’s made just three starts this season, managing two cuts, with a best of T36 in the South African Open. He also made the cut at the U.S. Open last year, his R2 66 being the second best card of the day, ten years after his brother Ben, another talented golfer, died in a car crash.
