Stephen Curry on court, practices with Team USA

It was a non-contact, no scrimmage, just run through the drills and offense kind of day for Team USA. You know, those practices you hated in high school.

But it was a good one for Stephen Curry, because he was back on the court. He had missed a couple days of practice with a mild ankle sprain.

He described himself as being at 80 percent. It is likely he will get a little run this weekend in the games against Lithuania and Spain.

His place on Team USA had looked pretty secure, but he is in the mix as one of the three guards who could be let go to get the roster from 13 down to 12. The other two are Eric Gordon and Russell Westbrook. We should see this weekend, both by playing rotation and performance, who will be the last cut.

Not that being the last cut is a sign of bad things to come -- Kevin Durant was the last cut from the 2008 Olympic squad. Now he is the face of Team USA.
