The Ravens won their third game in a row, beating the Vikings 27-19 on Sunday. Both teams are now 4-5.
The Vikings led 10-9 at halftime, but the second half belonged to the Ravens as Minnesota continually shot itself in the foot. The Vikings had three turnovers and eight false starts on the day despite playing at home.
The Vikings still had a chance, getting the ball back at their own 8 with 1:44 remaining and no timeouts and in need of a touchdown and a 2-point conversion to send it to overtime. They reached their own 40 before turning it over on downs.
The Vikings outgained the Ravens 365 to 322, but J.J. McCarthy threw two interceptions — one to Marlon Humphrey and one to Malaki Starks — and Myles Price fumbled a kickoff that Keondre Jackson forced and recovered at the Minnesota 23.
The Ravens used the three turnovers for 13 of their points.
Lamar Jackson was 17-of-29 for 176 yards and a touchdown, and he ran nine times for 36 yards. Derrick Henry rushed for 75 yards on 20 carries, and Zay Flowers caught four passes for 75 yards. Justice Hill and Mark Andrews each scored a touchdown.
McCarthy completed 20 of 42 passes for 248 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. He also rushed for 48 yards on five carries. Aaron Jones had nine carries for 47 yards and a touchdown. Jalen Nailor caught five passes for 124 yards, and Justin Jefferson had four receptions for 37 yards.
Vikings edge rusher Jonathan Greenard was injured in the third quarter.
He was chasing Lamar Jackson, who scrambled for 4 yards, when he hurt his shoulder. Greenard remained on the ground, writhing in pain.
He went into the training room after a visit to the sideline tent, and the Vikings list Greenard as questionable to return.
The Pro Bowler has two tackles and a pass defensed today.
He has 20 tackles and two sacks this season.
The Vikings trail the Ravens 19-10.

The Ravens were 0-for-3 in the red zone until Myles Price fumbled a kickoff after Tyler Loop’s 22-yard field goal on Baltimore’s opening drive of the half. Keondre Jackson forced Price to fumble and recovered it at the Minnesota 23.
The Ravens needed six plays to reach the end zone with Justice Hill scoring on a 1-yard run.
Price fumbled again on the ensuing kickoff, but teammate Ben Yurosek saved him with the recovery.
The Ravens have outgained the Vikings 244 to 208, with Lamar Jackson going 14-of-22 for 157 yards.
Aaron Jones scored on a 4-yard run on the Vikings’ first drive, capping a seven-play, 86-yard drive. It was the only touchdown of the first half by either team.

McCarthy has completed 9 of 15 passes for 130 yards, with Jalen Nailor catching two passes for 80 yards. Jones has six carries for 14 yards, and Justin Jefferson has three receptions for 26 yards.
The Ravens are favorites to win the AFC North, despite their 3-5 record. But they already trail the Vikings.

The Vikings then drove 86 yards in seven plays. The big play came on a deep pass J.J. McCarthy threw to Jalen Nailor for 62 yards to the Baltimore 4 before Alohi Gilman brought him down.
It set up Aaron Jones’ 4-yard touchdown run.
