Arrest warrant issued for Charles Rogers

Former Lions draft bust Charles Rogers is in trouble with the law again.

An arrest warrant was issued for Rogers, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2003 NFL draft, after he failed to appear in court this week.

Rogers is currently facing charges on five different misdemeanors, and this is the fourth time in the last year and a half that an arrest warrant has been issued for him, according to MLive.com.

Rogers has been in and out of drug treatment and has been in trouble for, among other things, leaving a threatening message on his mother’s answering machine.

The 32-year-old Rogers lasted just three seasons and caught just 36 passes in the NFL.
