The Cardinals made two linebacker-related roster moves Friday, placing Gabe Martin on their injured-reserve list and promoting Zaviar Gooden from the practice squad.

Martin broke into the league as an undrafted rookie with the Cardinals in 2015 and spent the regular season on the practice squad. He was promoted to the active roster in the postseason and made a special teams tackle in the NFC Championship Game.

He had played in all nine games this year. A knee injury ended his season.

Gooden, a third-round pick of the Titans in 2013, was cut by the Lions in September. He has played in 25 career games.
