The Seahawks added a pair of defensive backs to the roster for Monday night’s game against the Texans.

Cornerback Shaquill Griffin and safety Jerrick Reed have both been elevated from the practice squad on a temporary basis. It’s the second straight week that both players have been called up to help out an injury-riddled secondary.

The Seahawks are getting cornerback Riq Woolen back on Monday, but safety Julian Love (hamstring) and cornerback Devon Witherspoon (knee) are listed as questionable to play.

Griffin had seven tackles in last week’s win over the Jaguars and he also appeared in the team’s Week 2 win over the Steelers. Reed also made a September appearance and has two tackles in his time on the field this season.

The Texans activated a pair of players from the physically unable to perform list ahead of Monday night’s game against the Seahawks.

Defensive lineman Denico Autry and safety Jaylen Reed will be available for the game. The Texans also announced that they have elevated cornerback D’Angelo Ross from the practice squad and waived cornerback Zion Childress.

Autry had 13 tackles and three sacks in 10 regular season games last year and he had another sack in the playoffs. Autry has been out with a knee injury.

Reed was a sixth-round pick this year and he’s also been sidelined with a knee injury. Ross has played in two other games this season as a practice squad elevation.

The Seahawks will see the return of at least one starter in their secondary. Two others have a chance to return for Monday night’s game against the Texans.

Cornerback Riq Woolen, who missed last week’s win over Jacksonville with a concussion, has no injury designation on Saturday’s injury report. He has cleared protocol and will be back in the lineup.

In five games, he has 17 tackles and a pass defensed.

The Seahawks list cornerback Devon Witherspoon (knee) and safety Julian Love (hamstring) as questionable. They both missed the past two games with their injuries.

Reserve offensive tackle Josh Jones, who missed the past three games with a high-ankle sprain, also is questionable.

Outside linebacker Derick Hall (oblique) is out for a second consecutive week after being injured in Seattle’s Week 5 game against Tampa Bay. Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said Friday that Hall should return after the off week.

Texans wide receiver Christian Kirk re-injured his hamstring in Friday’s practice.

The team has now ruled him out for the Monday night game.

Kirk missed the first two games of the season with a strained hamstring. He has 10 receptions for 109 yards in three games.

The Texans have Nico Collins, Xavier Hutchinson, Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel at the top of the depth chart.

The Texans also ruled out rookie corner Alijah Huzzie (knee). He is working his way back from a torn ACL in the East-West Shrine Bowl and remains on the non-football injury list.

Defensive end Denico Autry (knee) missed practice on Saturday and is questionable. Autry was a full participant on Thursday and Friday.

Rookie safety Jaylen Reed (knee) also is questionable.

The Texans will have to activate Autry and Reed on Monday for them to play Monday night.

Cornerback Tremon Smith returned to practice on Saturday after being excused a day earlier for personal reasons.

The Seahawks could see the return of some of their best players on Monday night.

Cornerback Devon Witherspoon (knee) and safety Julian Love (hamstring) were limited participants in Thursday’s practice. It was the second consecutive limited practice for both players, who have missed the past two games.

Cornerback Riq Woolen was a full participant after missing Sunday’s game with a concussion.

Defensive tackle Jarran Reed, who injured his knee late in Sunday’s win in Jacksonville, was a full participant.

Offensive tackle Josh Jones, who has not played since Sept. 21 because of a high ankle sprain, was a limited participant.

Linebacker Derick Hall (oblique) did not practice, while cornerback Nehemiah Pritchett (hamstring) was limited.
