Bode Miller says super combined mistakes are ‘hard to swallow’
Bode Miller’s Olympic run isn’t over, but super combined represented one of his better medal opportunities. Yet, much like with men’s downhill, he went empty-handed. Afterward, he congratulated the medalists but also expressed his regrets.
Really tough day of racing, congrats to viletta, kostelic, and innerhoffer on their medals. It was hard fought.— Bode Miller (@MillerBode) February 14, 2014
At 36, Miller is likely aware that his Olympic window is closing. At the moment, it’s clear that he’s struggling with seeing his latest opportunity end in disappointment.
