NFL Sundays Begin and End on Peacock with Exclusive Coverage Featuring Fantasy Football Pregame with Matthew Berry at 11 a.m. ET and Peacock Sunday Night Football Final Immediately After This Week’s SNF Game

STAMFORD, Conn.Nov. 12, 2025 – Super Bowl LIX MVP Jalen Hurts and the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles (7-2) are atop the NFC East and host Jared Goff and the NFC North-leading Detroit Lions (6-3) in a Week 11 matchup of first-place NFC clubs on NBC’s Sunday Night Football. Coverage begins at 7 p.m. ET with a special on-site edition of Football Night in America followed by kickoff at 8:20 p.m. ET from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa., on NBC, Peacock and Universo.

FNIA and SNF return to Philadelphia after opening the season with the NFL Kickoff Game when the Eagles defeated the Dallas Cowboys, 24-20. In this milestone 20th season of NBC Sunday Night Football, Lions-Eagles is the 20th game in the SNF package to be played at Lincoln Financial Field (fourth-most among all NFL stadiums).

The two winningest NFC teams since 2022, the Eagles (46 regular-season wins) and Detroit (42) are the only two NFC teams with at least 40 regular-season wins over the past four seasons.

In Week 10, Detroit quarterback Jared Goff completed 25 passes on 33 pass attempts (75.8 percent) for 320 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions for a 135.9 passer rating in the Lions’ 44-22 win at Washington. Running back Jahmyr Gibbs recorded 172 scrimmage yards (142 rushing, 30 receiving) and three touchdowns (two rushing, one receiving) in the victory.

Goff is the third player in NFL history with at least 45 games with 300+ passing yards in his first 10 seasons, joining Patrick Mahomes (49 games, in his first nine seasons) and Matt Ryan (45). Goff has 27 career games with at least three touchdown passes and no interceptions, the fourth-most such games by a player in his first 10 seasons in NFL history, trailing only Aaron Rodgers (30 games), Russell Wilson (29) and Patrick Mahomes (28, in his ninth season).

This will be the Lions’ third primetime game in five weeks. Detroit was featured on SNF in Week 6 at Kansas City (a 30-17 loss to the Chiefs). The Eagles play their second consecutive primetime matchup after securing a 10-7 victory over the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Monday night.

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts leads the NFL with a 16-to-1 touchdown-to-interception ratio and ranks second overall in touchdown-turnover ratio (21:3), trailing only Lamar Jackson (16:2) in that category. In addition, Hurts’ 21 total touchdowns are tied for the third-most in the league, behind Matthew Stafford (25) and Josh Allen (22).

Wide receiver DeVonta Smith ranks third in the NFL in yards per target (10.6), trailing only Jaxon Smith-Njigba (12.2) and George Pickens (10.6) in that category (min. 60 targets).

2024 Offensive Player of the Year Saquon Barkley is part of an offense that currently ranks first in red zone offense percentage (80.9). Dallas Goedert leads all NFL tight ends and ranks third overall in receiving touchdowns (career-high seven).

The Lions and Eagles meet for the 37th time on Sunday, including the postseason, with Philadelphia leading the series, 19-16-2. They last played to open the 2022 regular season at Ford Field, where Detroit fell to Philadelphia, 38-35.

Mike Tirico (play-by-play), Cris Collinsworth (analyst), and Melissa Stark (sideline reporter) will call Lions-Eagles. Three-time Super Bowl referee Terry McAulay is the rules analyst for all NFL games on NBC and Peacock.

Coverage begins with the Football Night in America at 7 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock. The special on-site edition of the pregame show in Philadelphia will feature host Maria Taylor, former Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett, three-time Super Bowl champion Devin McCourty, former NFL quarterback Chris Simms, NFL insider Mike Florio, and fantasy sports industry pioneer Matthew Berry, with Hall of Fame head coach Tony Dungy, two-time Super Bowl champion Rodney Harrison, and co-host Jac Collinsworth on-site at Lincoln Financial Field.

This season, “flexible scheduling” for NBC’s Sunday Night Football may be used up to twice between Weeks 5-10, and in the NFL’s discretion during Weeks 11-17. During these flex scheduling windows, the games initially scheduled for NBC Sunday Night Football are tentatively scheduled and subject to change. Only Sunday afternoon games (or those listed as TBD) are eligible to be moved to Sunday night, in which case the initially scheduled Sunday night game would be moved to Sunday afternoon. As in prior seasons, for Week 18, the final weekend of the season, the scheduling of the Saturday, Sunday afternoon, and the Sunday night games is not assigned. Specific dates, start times, and networks for Week 18 matchups will be determined and announced following the conclusion of Week 17.
