The pick of the bunch will come from North London as Arsenal host in-form Southampton at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday with the Gunners expected to rest plenty of defenders as their injury concerns continue. Saints’ coaching staff earmarked the League Cup as a competition that want to go far in this season, as they search for their first piece of major silverware since 1976. Other battles between PL team include Sunderland playing Stoke City and Swansea hosting Everton on Tuesday, while Crystal Palace welcome Newcastle, plus Swansea clas with Hull on Wednesday.
