Purdy has missed the previous two games with toe and shoulder issues, leaving Mac Jones to start in his absence. Jones reportedly aggravated a PCL injury in Week 3, something that could push Purdy to return at less than full strength ahead of a meeting with the 2-1 Jaguars. Fantasy managers will want to monitor his practice statuses throughout the week.

Harbaugh didn’t leave much to the imagination following Sunday’s game when he said preliminary tests indicated a torn Achilles for Harris, who went down on a non-contact play. It’s a season-ender for the 27-year-old running back whose 2025 challenges began with a fireworks accident on July 4th. Harris signed a one-year contract with the Chargers this offseason and sees his season come to an end with a 15-61-0 rushing line to go with three receptions for 25 scoreless yards. Harris will be a free agent this offseason and could be faced with having to sign a one-year prove-it deal wherever he lands next.

Quinn will provide another update on Wednesday when the Commanders take the field for their first practice of the week. The team has played Daniels’ availability somewhat close to the vest, calling him “truly day-to-day” last week, only to eventually rule him out before the weekend after he failed to practice all week. We don’t fully know the severity of Daniels’ injury, leaving us to trust what the team tells us while we monitor injury reports from afar. Daniels’ practice status will be one to watch when the first report is released on Wednesday.

Numerous reports continue to come in on Lamb’s ankle. In less than 24 hours, we have gone from Lamb saying he could “absolutely” play in Week 4 to the team now expecting him to miss 3-4 weeks, which always felt like the most likely outcome regardless of Lamb’s optimism. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport later reported that the Cowboys don’t plan to place Lamb on injured reserve in case he can return inside the four games players on IR are required to miss, but it sounds like this is trending toward being a multi-week absence. George Pickens and Jake Ferguson stand to benefit the most from Lamb’s absence, with Pickens profiling as a WR2 and Ferguson a fringe TE1 in fantasy.

It is the second time in three weeks that Daboll hasn’t really offered much of an endorsement for Russell Wilson, although he did manage a 400-yard effort against the Cowboys in Week 2. It seems like Jaxson Dart will get his chance sooner rather than later regardless of what happens this week, with the team clearly spiraling at 0-3 and Daboll needing some way to manufacture some job security. Whenever he’s elevated, Dart will need to blow the NFL away for Daboll and Joe Schoen to have any shot of keeping their jobs. The Athletic’s Dan Duggan believes that “after listening to Daboll’s entire presser, they have to be making a QB change and he’s just not ready to announce it.”

The 49ers had optimism last night, but this is a devastating blow. It is the same knee he initially tore the ACL in during the 2020 season. San Francisco was getting by with Bosa and some blitz packages, but now has no obvious source of pressure on the roster. Bryce Huff could be elevated beyond his situational role as the 49ers try to pick up the pieces on defense. It’s a major downgrade for their D/ST and will make their playoff climb a little steeper, even at 3-0.

He’s set to undergo an MRI on Tuesday, but Evans is still likely to miss some time. However, the initial diagnosis seems mostly positive. Evans suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s win over the Jets and did not return to the field. Depending on his expected recovery time, it’s possible Evans avoids injured reserve if the team thinks he can return inside of the four-game minimum he would need to miss on IR. It seems unlikely Evans plays in Week 4, but we’ll see what his practice status is when the first injury report drops on Wednesday.

Nabers had no chance against Steve Spagnuolo’s game plan, which involved heavy rates of double coverage and safety help against the talented second-year receiver. The poor showing goes down as his worst professional box score after never failing to crack four receptions until this point. A Week 4 matchup against the Chargers represents another difficult task for Nabers and quarterback Russell Wilson to overcome. It’s a game that could spark a change at quarterback in New York if the returns do not improve.

Skattebo served as he primary back following the first-quarter injury to Tracy, who departed the contest with a shoulder injury after a hit on the sideline. The tenacious rookie made good on the opportunity, leading the team in both rushing a receiving against a stout Kansas City defense. Fantasy managers need not wait on word of Tracy’s injury as it would be difficult to envision the team turning back to the veteran following the returns from Skattebo. He immediately vaults into the RB2 discussion the rest of the way.
