Travis Bergen has elected free agency.
Bergen made 10 appearances with the Blue Jays back in May before being designated for assignment in July. The 27-year-old lefty spent the remainder of the season at Triple-A Buffalo.

  • KC Starting Pitcher #50

Kris Bubic struck out three over two innings while allowing one run against the Brewers on Sunday.
Bubic allowed four hits and didn’t walk anyone. The 28-year-old was outstanding in 2026 before a shoulder injury truncated his season with a 2.55 ERA and 116/39 K/BB over his 116 1/3 innings. There’s obvious durability concerns and there will be “one year wonder” questions, but Bubic offers more fantasy upside than being given credit for in drafts.
Target Abreu late for fantasy RP amid Hader injury
Eric Samulski and James Schiano look at the 'landmine-y' world of fantasy relief pitchers and explain why Josh Hader's injury gives Bryan Abreu a massive boost in value.
  • MIL Pitcher #39
Chad Patrick allowed a run over two innings in his start against the Royals on Sunday.
Patrick allowed two hits, two walks and struck out two. The 27-year-old right-hander should have a spot in the rotation after striking out 127 over 119 2/3 innings with a 3.53 ERA over his 23 starts — 27 total appearances — in 2025, and his ability to miss bats makes him a sneaky fantasy option in the latter rounds to open 2026.
  • SD Starting Pitcher #48
Germán Márquez allowed three runs over two innings in his start against the Giants on Sunday.
Márquez made his first start as a member of the Padres and celebrated it by pitching like he usually did with the Rockies. The 31-year-old will battle JP Sears and Randy Vásquez for the final spot in the San Diego rotation.
  • SD Center Fielder #8
Padres signed OF Alex Verdugo to a minor league contract.
Verdugo will get a chance to show he’s still a capable outfielder after a rough 2025 season that saw him slash .239/.296/.289 before being desiganted for assignment by Atlanta. He’ll need to be added to the 40-man roster to join the Padres, and he’ll need a big spring training for that conversation to take place.
  • SF Pitcher #62
Logan Webb worked three innings and allowed one run in his start against the Padres on Sunday.
Webb gave up a run on a single by Ty France in the first, and then shut down the San Diego lineup. The right-hander will now join Team USA for the World Baseball Classic and looks ready to roll for another strong campaign in 2026.
  • ATL Infield #27
Austin Riley hit his second homer of the spring Sunday as a Braves split-squad topped the Rays 5-3.
Riley’s 428-foot homer left the bat at 106 mph, and he also had a 107-mph lineout to left. Not typically a big spring performer, Riley has already matched his 2025 total of two Grapefruit League homers. His high is four from 2020.
  • ATL Pitcher #40
Reynaldo López pitched three scoreless frames with three strikeouts Sunday against the Rays.
Statcast had López’s fastball down 3.6 mph from last year in today’s outing, which is comparable to where his velocity was before Statcast went out partway through his spring debut last week. López’s breaking balls aren’t down quite so much, but it’s not looking great, with his curveball spin rate today down about eight percent from last year. López is building up after last year’s shoulder surgery, and it’s still really early. However, he’s probably going to need to get back into the mid-90s to be a quality MLB starter. He averaged 92.0 mph today.
  • TB Pitcher #57
Drew Rasmussen was perfect for three innings Sunday against the Braves.
Rasmussen, the Rays’ Opening Day starter, is up to five scoreless innings to open the spring. He got one strikeout today and breezed through his outing while using just 36 pitches.
  • TB Infield #2
Yandy Díaz homered and walked from the leadoff spot Sunday against the Braves.
Díaz is 4-for-7 with two homers and three walks in the early going here. He’s led off in three of his four starts to date, hitting second in the other appearance. He’ll probably spend time in both spots during the regular season, though it could come down to whether any of the team’s lefties turn into quality leadoff options. Gavin Lux is one player who figures to get a look there this spring, but he’s yet to debut because of some soreness.
  • LAA Pitcher #59
José Soriano won’t start Tuesday against the Mariners due to illness.
The Angels will push the 27-year-old back to an undetermined date, and George Klassen will start in Soriano’s place.
