Orioles recalled RHP Carson Ragsdale from the Rookie-level Florida Complex League.
It’s been a whirlwind few weeks for Ragsdale, who finds himself back in Baltimore’s bullpen for the final weekend of the regular season just a couple days after being claimed off waivers from Atlanta. The 27-year-old rookie was hit hard earlier this month in his big-league debut. He’ll likely pitch in mop-up duty this weekend against the Yankees.

Samuel Basallo is out of the lineup on Monday against the Rangers.
This seems like just a routine day off for Basallo. Adley Rutschman will catch with Tyler O’Neill sliding to designated hitter and Dylan Beavers staying in the lineup in right field.
Look to add Mariners SP Hancock off waiver wires
Eric Samulski reacts to Emerson Hancock's "impressive" season debut for the Seattle Mariners against the Cleveland Guardians and breaks down how he looks like a "different version" of himself in his first start.
  • SF 2nd Baseman #49
Giants designated INF Tyler Fitzgerald for assignment.
After bursting onto the scene in 2024 and slashing .280/.334/.497 with 15 home runs and 17 steals in 341 plate appearances, Fitzgerald has been unable to sustain much fantasy success. With the team acquiring reliever Dylan Smith, they needed to make room on the 40-man roster, so Fitzgerald was let go.
  • MIL Right Fielder #29
Brewers acquired OF Luis Matos from Giants for cash considerations.
The 24-year-old Matos, who is out of options and was DFA’d last week, has slashed .231/.281/.369 in 593 MLB plate appearances. The Brewers figure to have him replace Blace Perkins, who opened up in the minors before being recalled as Andrew Vaughn’s replacement, and can give him some starts in left field against left-handers.
  • SF Relief Pitcher #58
Giants acquired RHP Dylan Smith from the Tigers for cash considerations.
Smith was designated for assignment by the Tigers last week, so the Giants swooped in to make the acquisition. The 25-year-old had a 1.38 ERA in 13 innings for the Tigers last season. He has two options years left, so we’re guessing the Giants will send him to Triple-A for now.
  • CIN Starting Pitcher #40
Nick Lodolo (blister) will make a rehab start for Class-A Daytona on Thursday.
This will line Lodolo up to return next Tuesday in Miami against the Marlins. Provided Lodolo’s health holds up on Thursday, we should see him back in the Reds’ rotation next week.
  • PHI 2nd Baseman #5
Bryson Stott is not in the lineup on Monday against the Nationals.
With the Nationals pitching left-hander Foster Griffin, Stott will head to the bench with Edumundo Sosa starting at second base and batting sixth. Stott also sat against a lefty on Sunday, so it’s clear that he will not get many appearances against southpaws this season, which will hurt his value in fantasy leagues with weekly lineup locks. The rest of the Phillies’ lineup is similar to what they showed against a lefty on Sunday, but J.T. Realmuto will get a day off and Brandon Marsh will be back in the lineup with Justin Crawford heading to the bench.
  • WSH Left Fielder #21
Joey Wiemer is starting in center field and batting ninth against the Phillies on Monday.
It’s Wiemer’s first start against a right-handed starter this season, but he has gone 6-for-6 with two home runs to start the season, so it was bound to happen. Jacob Young is getting his first day off today, which allowed Wiemer to slide into center field with James Wood moving into right field and Jose Tena entering the lineup at designated hitter.
  • MIA 3rd Baseman #21
Graham Pauley is starting at third base and batting ninth on Monday against the White Sox.
With Devyison De Los Santos back in Triple-A, Connor Norby will move over to first base, which gives Pauley the chance to claim the third base job as long as Christopher Morel (oblique) is out. Pauley seemed in line to begin the starting season as the starter before a forearm injury sidelined him for much of spring training. He’s more of a deep league target in fantasy leagues.
  • CIN Right Fielder #4
Noelvi Marte is not in the lineup on Monday against the Pirates.
Marte has now sat against both righties the Reds have faced this season, which is a bit confusing considering he had reverse splits last year. To start the year, it seems like Will Benson will be starting against right-handed pitchers, which makes it hard to roster Marte in shallower formats right now, especially considering the Reds are set to face right-handed starters in eight of their next nine games.
  • COL Center Fielder #9
Brenton Doyle is not in the starting lineup on Monday against the Blue Jays.
Doyle will take a seat for the first time this season. Troy Johnston will enter the starting lineup in right field, and Jake McCarthy will switch over to center field. Doyle is hitless in his first 12 plate appearances this season, so perhaps a day off will help him clear his head.
