Fuentes is getting called up and, according to Barrett Sallee of the Atlanta Braves Radio Network. will also start Wednesday’s game against the Nationals. Martín Pérez had originally been slated to start this game, so he will most likely have his start pushed back to later in the weekend. There’s no word yet on whether this is a spot start for Fuentes or if the Braves will move to a six-man rotation or move somebody else out of the rotation. Fuentes has been tremendous in Triple-A with a 2.16 ERA, 0.84 WHIP, and 20/6 K/BB ratio in 16 2/3 innings, so he is a great streamer for today.

The Mariners are going to closely monitor Donovan’s workload after missing time this season in an attempt to prevent further groin issues related to last year’s sports hernia surgery. It’ll be Leo Rivas taking over at the hot corner on Wednesday night in his place.

Pepiot is facing a six-month rehabilitation process from the procedure and is expected to be a full-go for the outset of spring training. The 28-year-old hit the injured list just prior to Opening Day with hip inflammation and ended up requiring surgery following a setback in late April.

Barnett returns to the Athletics relief corps with Brooks Kriske heading to the injured list with a shoulder impingement. The 25-year-old reliever tossed two scoreless frames in his lone outing in the big leagues last month.

No word yet regarding how much time Kriske will miss. The 32-year-old journeyman reliever was just called up from Triple-A Las Vegas last week. He tossed 2 2/3 scoreless frames in a pair of appearances for the Athletics prior to the injury.

Bolte receives his first opportunity after being called up from Triple-A Las Vegas earlier this week where he was slashing an other-worldly .348/.418/.658 with 12 homers and 17 steals across 37 games in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League. The 22-year-old offers an interesting power/speed combo skillset and made some significant strides in the contact department this season, slashing his strikeout rate from 33 percent last year to just 22 percent. There are some playing time concerns that could chip away at his immediate fantasy upside, but he’s at least worthy of a speculative roster spot in deeper mixed leagues.

Phillies interim manager Don Mattingly told reporters Turner could potentially be available off the bench. The 32-year-old power/speed combo threat has hit a bit of a rough patch recently, hitting .182 (8-for-44) with 10 strikeouts since the start of May. It’ll be Edmundo Sosa taking over at shortstop and hitting ninth with a sizzling-hot Kyle Schwarber moving up to the leadoff spot to face Red Sox veteran righty Sonny Gray at Fenway Park.

Ewing scalded an RBI triple, walked three times and stole a base during his major-league debut on Tuesday night at Citi Field. The 21-year-old top prospect has a relatively unobstructed path to everyday at-bats in center field with Luis Robert Jr. (back) not progressing as quickly in his rehab as originally hoped. He has the skillset required to serve as a dynamic top-of-the-order catalyst, but the Mets aren’t going to put too much pressure on him right out of the gate. Still, Ewing projects as a strong batting average and stolen base source for fantasy managers and is worthy of a speculative roster spot in all leagues until further notice.

Dingler has been moved up to the second spot in Detroit’s lineup, behind rookie standout Kevin McGonigle, for the first time in his career. The 27-year-old backstop is hitting just .196 (11-for-56) with two homers over his last 15 games. He’s mashed seven homers through 36 games, which puts him on pace to easily shatter last year’s career-high 13 round-trippers in 136 contests.

Brewers skipper Pat Murphy told reporters Yelich, who returned from the injured list during Tuesday’s series opener, is dealing with a little back soreness and they didn’t want to take any chances given his injury history. It sounds like a precautionary move to give him some extra time off and prevent the issue from growing into a larger concern. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day heading into Thursday’s series finale.

As expected, Fairbanks returns to anchor Miami’s bullpen ahead of Wednesday’s game against the Twins following a minimum stay on the injured list due to nerve irritation in his pitching hand. The 32-year-old closer converted five of six save opportunities and allowed 10 runs over nine innings prior to hitting the shelf on April 28. He should be rostered in all fantasy formats, despite holding a cringe-inducing 10.00 ERA this season.
