Perks withdrew after today’s first round, where he was 13-over-par. He has yet to make the cut in a tournament in 2007 and is playing on the last year of his exemption for winning the 2002 Players Championship.

7yCraig Perks withdrew on Monday from the Reno-Tahoe Open.

Perks has yet to make a cut this year and he is on the last year of his five year exemption for winning the 2002 Players Championship. He has been replaced in the field by Jim McGovern, who has been playing on the Nationwide Tour this year.

This is SOP for Perks who has made only one cut in his last 31 events going back to 2005. Fantasy managers should avoid this golfer as he only gets into tournaments off a five-year exemption from his remarkable win in the 2002 Players Championship.
