Tyler Collet tossed together a 2-under 68 in round one of The Honda Classic, good for a spot inside of the top 15 at day’s end.

The 2022 PGA South Florida Section Player of the Year is playing his fourth career event on the big stage and this will be his first time posting inside of the top 95 after any round. Collet said he feels like he belongs, “The goal’s always to play out here. So that’s my goal and that’s what I’m striving towards.” He walked off the course today ranked 4th in strokes gained around-the-green and 21st in putting. He’ll enter day two just three shots off the early pacesetters at the top of the board.
