Good news: Rockies manager Jim Tracy, who collapsed at the Meetings last night, is reported to be resting comfortably today and doing as well as can be expected. Tracy Ringolsby reports this morning that the doctors “have ruled out everything serious.”

While the meetings are a lot of fun and there is a healthy amount of socializing, managers and team executives are under a lot of pressure here. Tracy and the other managers had a ton of media attention yesterday. Then there are actual meetings that they attend. They’re “on” all day, and it’s easy to not take some time, drink some water, and chill out. Here’s hoping that Tracy’s issue was one of exhaustion and nothing more.
