Ty Jerome

MEM Guard-Forward #2

Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players

Ty Jerome struggled on Monday but still contributed 15 points (4-of-15 FGs), one rebound, eight assists, one steal and one three-pointer against the Jazz.

After a scorching start to the season, Jerome fell back to earth in this game. His shot simply didn’t fall at the same rate, though he made up for it by dishing out a season high for assists. Jerome has been unreal to start the season, but it was never likely that he would maintain that pace. However, he should be a fantastic fantasy option for the rest of the season and one of the best value picks in fantasy basketball.
Cedric Coward

MEM Guard #23

Cedric Coward recorded a double-double on Monday with 16 points (6-of-12 FGs), 11 rebounds, three assists, one steal and four three-pointers in a 110-105 win over the Jazz.

Coward has gotten off to a strong start in his second season, especially over his last two games, where he has recorded a double-double in each. It was an ugly win, but Memphis is now 4-0 to start the season. Coward has been a big part of that and is currently a top-50 player in fantasy basketball. He’ll look to keep it going in Portland on Thursday.
Karim Lopez

MEM Forward #35

Karim López (knee) is available for Monday’s game against the Jazz.

López will be available to make his NBA debut on Monday. However, he isn’t guaranteed rotation minutes, so you don’t need to roster him in redraft leagues.
Isaiah Stewart

MEM Forward-Center #28

Isaiah Stewart (ankle) is available for Monday’s game against the Jazz.

Stewart played 22 minutes in Sunday’s win over the Kings, filling in at center for Zach Edey. With Edey also available for Monday’s game, Beef Stew will come off the bench.
Karim Lopez

MEM Forward #35

Karim Lopez (knee) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Jazz.

Lopez missed Sunday’s game against the Kings and is seemingly on the wrong side of questionable for Monday’s tilt with the Jazz. His likely absence won’t impact fantasy basketball, however.
Isaiah Stewart

MEM Forward-Center #28

Isaiah Stewart (ankle) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Jazz.

Stewart is questionable for Monday’s game with an ankle injury. If he can’t play, Quinten Post could see more minutes off the bench, though he isn’t worth rostering in fantasy leagues.
Isaiah Stewart

MEM Forward-Center #28

Isaiah Stewart tallied 13 points (4-of-8 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), five rebounds, two assists, one steal, two blocks and two three-pointers in Sunday’s win over the Kings.

The Grizzlies gave Zach Edey the night off, so Beef Stew was inserted into the starting lineup. Stewart’s value was his defense and three-point shooting, but he played just 22 minutes. He missed most of the preseason with a sprained ankle, which likely factored into his playing time. Edey should be back for Monday’s game against the Jazz, which would push Stewart to the bench.
Cedric Coward

MEM Guard #23

Cedric Coward (wrist) tallied 15 points (6-of-11 FGs), 11 rebounds, two assists, one steal and three three-pointers in Sunday’s win over the Kings.

Coward returned to the Grizzlies’ starting lineup after missing Friday’s win over the Warriors, leading to GG Jackson heading to the bench and playing just 10 minutes. Coward recorded a double-double and played 32 minutes. As long as his wrist doesn’t give him trouble, Coward should provide reliable fantasy value, especially in category leagues.
Ty Jerome

MEM Guard-Forward #2

Ty Jerome amassed 31 points (8-of-17 FGs, 14-of-14 FTs), four rebounds, six assists, one steal and one three-pointer in Sunday’s win over the Kings.

For those who believed Jerome would cool off after scoring 73 points in the Grizzlies’ first two games, that didn’t happen on Sunday. He did most of his damage inside the arc, making 7 of 11 two-point attempts and shooting 14-for-14 from the foul line. Add in the assists, and it was another excellent night for those rostering Jerome, one of the best players in fantasy basketball so far. The Grizzlies play three games in Week 2, starting with the Jazz on Monday.
Isaiah Stewart

MEM Forward-Center #28

Ty Jerome, Cedric Coward, Jaylen Wells, Cameron Boozer and Isaiah Stewart will start Sunday’s game against the Kings.

While Coward returns after a one-game absence and pushes GG Jackson to the bench, the Grizzlies will not play Zach Edey due to injury management. As a result, Stewart will start at center in his second official game for the franchise.
