Take a player who is an unstoppable freight train in transition and put him on the team that played at the fastest pace in the NBA last season and you have something dynamic.

Antetokounmpo has looked comfortable in the Heat offense, which is still using cutting and movement to create pace. Antetokounmpo has been setting picks early in the offense at points, but the Heat look best when their expected elite defense creates turnovers and lets them get out and run.
Antetokounmpo played only one half against the Pelicans and looked good.

The concerns about the Heat have focused on their offense when the games get real, but Bam Adebayo brushed that concern aside when speaking to Eric Nehm of The Athletic.
“I mean, last year, we led the league in 140-point games and that’s with no Giannis Antetokounmpo,” Adebayo said with a laugh. “But we see the potential.”
