Jordan Love left the game with 8:15 remaining in the first half. He did not return before the end of the half.
The Packers quarterback was undergoing a concussion check and is questionable to return.
The Packers, though, lead the Bears 6-0 on Saturday night.
Brandon McManus kicked field goals of 26 and 22 yards as the Packers are 0-for-3 in the red zone. They turned it over on downs after reaching the Chicago 7 and kicked field goals after stalling at the Chicago 8 and the Chicago 4.
The Packers outgained the Bears 178 to 126, but they lost Love on an illegal helmet-to-helmet hit from Bears defensive lineman Austin Booker.
Love is 8-of-13 for 77 yards, and Malik Willis 1-of-3 for 6 yards. Willis, though, completed the second scoring drive. Romeo Doubs has four catches for 51 yards, and Emanuel Wilson has 38 yards on six carries.
The Bears reached the Green Bay 4 on their first drive, facing a fourth-and-1. Drew Dalman’s snap went over the head of running back Kyle Monangai, who was taking the direct snap out of the wildcat. Monangai recovered it at the 22 as the Bears turned it over on downs.
They reached the Green Bay 45 on each of their last two drives of the half.
Caleb Williams is 5-of-9 for 65 yards with Olamide Zaccheaus catching two for 33. Monangai has five carries for 24 yards.
Fox reported that the heaters on the Packers’ sideline are inoperable.
Jordan Love left the game with 8:15 remaining in the second quarter.
The Packers quarterback took a vicious helmet-to-helmet hit from Bears defensive lineman Austin Booker. Love was injured on the play, and Booker was flagged for roughing the passer.
Love, whose head also bounced off the turf, departed for the training room to be checked for a concussion. The Packers list him as questionable to return.
Malik Willis has replaced Love.
Love is 8-of-13 for 77 yards, and the Packers lead 3-0.
For much of the season, Bears quarterback Caleb Williams was on pace to generate the franchise’s first 4,000-yard passing season.
With three games to play, Williams has 3,150 passing yards. The average of 225 per game puts him on pace for 3,825 yards. (The team’s single-season record of 3,838 was set by Erik Kramer in 1995.)
With 850 yards to go, he needs to average 283.3 yards per game against the Packers, 49ers, and Lions to get there. Williams has two games in excess of 283 yards this season, in the win over the Cowboys and the loss to the Ravens.
He’ll eventually get to 4,000 with the Bears. The far bigger priority is to get to the postseason, which is firmly within grasp — but which also could still collapse down the stretch. With the Rams and Seahawks already clinching postseason berths, the simple reality is that, as to the Packers, Bears, Lions, and 49ers, one of those teams is not getting in.
That makes tonight’s game against Green Bay critical for Chicago, regardless of whether Williams throws for 283, 383, or 83 yards.
When the Packers lost Micah Parsons for the season with a torn ACL, they lost one of the best pass rushers in football. And they were left with only one healthy proven pass rusher on the roster.
Rashan Gary, who is second on the team behind Parsons with 7.5 sacks, is now the only healthy player on the Packers with more than two sacks this season.
Packers defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt is third on the team with four sacks, but he was lost for the season after 10 games because of a fractured ankle.
Packers defensive linemen Kingsley Enagbare is fourth on the team with two sacks, but he’s questionable for today’s game against the Bears with an illness.
The Packers will be counting on Gary to play well, but with Parsons out it’s going to be a lot easier for opposing offenses to turn their attentions to Gary, double team him and make someone else beat their pass protection. The Packers need that someone else to step up down the stretch.
The Packers have a long list of players listed as questionable for Saturday’s game against the Bears.
Wide receiver Christian Watson (chest, shoulder) is one of the 10 players who drew that tag. Watson had his second straight day of limited practice on Thursday.
Running back Josh Jacobs (knee, ankle) and right tackle Zach Tom (back, knee) did not practice, but they are also in the group. Safety Evan Williams (knee), wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks (ankle), running back Chris Brooks (chest), offensive lineman Darian Kinnard (neck), and defensive linemen Kingsley Enagbare (illness), Brenton Cox Jr. (groin) and Collin Oliver (hamstring) are the other questionable Packers this week.
Cox and Oliver will need to be activated in order to play in Chicago.
Tight end Josh Whyle (concussion), running back MarShawn Lloyd (calf, hamstring), and guard John Williams (back) are the Packers that have been ruled out this week.
