The Texans continue to struggle.

They went three-and-out on their first drive, and Ka’imi Fairbairn missed a 52-yard field goal wide right on their second.

The Jaguars scored on their second possession after Fairbairn’s miss left them with good field position. They went 58 yards in nine plays, with Bhayshul Tuten scoring from the 1.

The Texans nearly made the Jaguars make a fourth-down decision, but on third-and-9 from the Jacksonville 12, Trevor Lawrence threw an incomplete pass out of the end zone. Officials, though, called Derek Stingley for defensive pass interference to set up Tuten’s touchdown.

The Jaguars have outgained the Texans 54 to 27, with Lawrence going 6-of-8 for 50 yards.

The Browns listed two of their starting offensive linemen as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Packers and only one of them will be playing.

Right tackle Jack Conklin is out with an elbow injury that limited him in practice all this week. Left guard Joel Bitonio did not practice all week because of a back injury, but he will play.

Cornelius Lucas will start in Conklin’s place.

On the Packers side, tight end Tucker Kraft and right tackle Zach Tom will both play.

Wide receiver Christian Kirk (hamstring) and returner Braxton Berrios (hamstring) will make their 2025 debuts this week.

Both returned to full participation on Friday.

The Texans can use the help as they have scored the fewest points in the league through two weeks.

Cornerback Jaylin Smith (hamstring) is the only player the Texans ruled out. He missed practice all week and was the only player out of Friday’s practice.

Center Jake Andrews (ankle), cornerback Kamari Lassiter (knee), safety Jalen Pitre (rib) and defensive lineman Darrell Taylor (hip) are good to go after full participation on Friday.

The Texans’ injury report remained the same as on Wednesday.

Cornerback Jaylin Smith (hamstring) was out of practice again Thursday.

Center Jake Andrews (ankle), wide receiver Braxton Berrios (hamstring), wide receiver Christian Kirk (hamstring), cornerback Kamari Lassiter (knee), safety Jalen Pitre (rib) and defensive lineman Darrell Taylor (hip) were limited.

Berrios and Kirk have not played this season, and the Texans have scored the fewest points in the league through the first two weeks of the season.

Andrews played 45 snaps in the season opener before his injury. Jarrett Patterson replaced him the rest of that game and in Week 2.

Jaguars head coach Liam Coen said that wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr.'s performance in Week 2 may have been hampered by a wrist injury and it remained an issue at Thursday’s practice.

Thomas was listed as a limited participant on the Jaguars’ second injury report of the week. He was a full participant on Wednesday and Friday will bring word of any injury designation for Sunday’s game against the Texans.

Tight end Hunter Long (ankle) was the only other player with a change in status. He went from out of practice to limited participation. Cornerback Jarrian Jones (back), offensive lineman Wyatt Milum (knee), and running back Bhayshul Tuten (shoulder) were also limited on Thursday.

Offensive lineman Ezra Cleveland (ankle) did not practice and cornerback Montaric Brown (ankle) was a full participant.
