Police were called to a high-rise condominium in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, on Monday after a domestic dispute between Tyreek Hill and his wife, according to an incident report obtained by Local 10 News.
Alesia Vacarro, the mother of Hill’s wife, Keeta Hill, called police shortly after 2 p.m. to report an “assault in progress.” Vacarro told police that Hill was “very aggressive and impulsive” and she feared for her daughter’s safety, per the TV station.
Vacarro told officers she has lived with the couple since November after the birth of her granddaughter.
Vacarro accuses Hill of throwing a laptop on the floor after an argument with his wife before grabbing his daughter and walking toward the balcony of the residence. Keeta Hill told police the couple have been arguing more frequently with Hill getting “angry” and throwing things when she gives her opinion on anything.
Per the incident report obtained by Local 10 News, Keeta Hill said couples therapy is “not working out” and she said she is “in the process of filing for divorce.”
Tyreek Hill told officers the couple was discussing therapy when the argument escalated. He admitted grabbing the baby: “I have the same rights as a father as her as a mother, and I can take my baby whenever I want,” Hill said in the incident report obtained by the TV station.
Hill and his wife told police their argument never became physical, but officers noted a bruise on Keeta Hill’s upper chest. She said it may have happened unintentionally when Hill took the baby from her.
No arrests were made, per Local 10 News.
The Colts may have brought in Daniel Jones to compete with Anthony Richardson, but they’re still doing their due diligence on quarterbacks in the draft class.
Per Mike Garafolo of NFL Media, Quinn Ewers is visiting with Indianapolis on Wednesday.
Ewers, 22, helped lead Texas to the college football playoff over the last two seasons. He threw for 3,472 yards with 31 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 2024, completing 66 percent of his passes.
The Colts have also had a reported meeting with former Louisville quarterback Tyler Shough.
Richardson is entering a critical third season while Jones signed a one-year deal with the club.
The Raiders are the betting favorites to wind up with running back Ashton Jeanty in the draft and they’ll get a chance to spend some time with him on Wednesday.
Albert Breer of SI.com reports that the former Boise State star is part of a big group of draft prospects set to visit with the team in Las Vegas. Jeanty has been seen as the top running back in the 2025 class for some time and the Raiders have the sixth overall pick this year.
A couple of other players that are expected to be early picks will also be in Vegas Wednesday. Former LSU offensive tackle Will Campbell and former Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham visit along with Graham’s college teammate linebacker Josaiah Stewart.
Quarterbacks Jaxson Dart, Quinn Ewers, and Will Howard be in the group as well. The Raiders traded for Geno Smith and signed him to a contract extension, but developing a quarterback for the future could be part of the plan for the Raiders as well.
Could former LSU tight end Mason Taylor end up with his Hall of Fame father’s team?
The Dolphins are at least going to take a look.
Per Tom Pelissero of NFL Media, Taylor — Jason Taylor’s son — is set to take a pre-draft visit with Miami.
Mason Taylor, 20, also took a visit with the Chargers last week and is set to visit with the Seahawks and Browns on his schedule.
In 38 career games at LSU, Taylor caught 129 passes for 1,308 yards with six touchdowns. He recorded 55 receptions for 546 yards with two TDs in 2024.
Taylor’s father, Jason, was a three-time All-Pro, the 2006 defensive player of the year, and the 2007 Walter Payton Man of the Year. He tallied 131.0 career sacks across 13 seasons for the Dolphins and was enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2017 — his first year of eligibility.
Wes Welker has found a new gig.
According to Mike Reiss of ESPN, Welker is joining the Commanders.
Multiple reports indicate Welker will be a personnel analyst, working with both the coaching and personnel staff for Washington.
Welker, 43, had been the Dolphins’ receivers coach from 2022-2024. He previously crossed paths with General Manager Adam Peters with the 49ers, as Welker was San Francisco’s receivers coach from 2019-2021 while Peters was in the team’s front office.
Additionally, Welker was notably offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury’s college teammate at Texas Tech.
The Dolphins replaced Welker with veteran receivers coach Robert Prince this offseason.
