The Titans have an injury concern with one of their key offensive contributors.

Head coach Brian Callahan said in his Monday press conference that running back Tyjae Spears is week-to-week with the hamstring injury he suffered in Sunday’s loss to the Colts.

Spears was on the field for 12 offensive snaps on Sunday before he had to exit the contest. He had six carries for 27 yards.

In five games this season, Spears has 114 yards on 33 carries with a touchdown. He’s also caught 12 passes for 76 yards.

Tennessee will be on the road to face Buffalo in Week 7.

Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley was targeted eight times in Sunday’s loss to the Colts, but he didn’t have any catches and he wasn’t happy with how those targets were doled out.

Ridley was targeted twice in the first half of the game and he didn’t help his cause by dropping passes. He was critical of himself for that, but also told reporters after the game that he wants the ball to come his way more often early in the game so that he can feel in the flow of the game.

“I need some in the beginning of the fucking game too,” Ridley said, via Turron Davenport of ESPN.com. “This shit is getting crazy. I sucked today and got to do better. But I got to get the ball a little earlier so I can be in the game and here with the team and play well also.”

Head coach Brian Callahan said in his press conference that the team can’t win without contributions from Ridley and they’re proving that point. The Titans are 1-4 and Ridley has just nine catches through five games.

The Colts and Titans went back and forth on Sunday, but ultimately Indianapolis was able to come away with a 20-17 victory.

Down 17-10 going into the fourth quarter, the Colts narrowed the Titans’ lead with a 22-yard field goal after the club couldn’t get into the end zone deep in Tennessee territory.

But then Indianapolis took the lead for good on their next drive, with quarterback Joe Flacco — starting his second game for an injured Anthony Richardson — hitting receiver Michael Pittman for a 10-yard touchdown with 7:27 left in the contest.

Tennessee had three more realistic chances to at least tie the game, but couldn’t get it done. The club went three-and-out on the first chance, quarterback Will Levis threw an interception on an ill-advised deep ball on the second, and the club punted again with 2:18 left in the fourth quarter.

The Titans didn’t get the ball back until there were just 12 seconds on the clock, which was too little too late.

Flacco ended the game 22-of-38 for 189 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. Josh Downs caught seven passes for 66 yards with one TD to lead the way.

Indianapolis was 7-of-15 on third down, finishing with 269 total yards.

Levis was 16-of-27 passing for just 95 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Tony Pollard led with 93 yards on 17 carries.

Now at 3-3, the Colts will be at home to face the Dolphins next week.

The 1-4 Titans will be on the road in Week 6 to play the Bills.

The Titans looked like they’d have to settle for a field goal on third-and-19 from the Colts 23-yard line.

But even though Tennessee went conservative on a play call with a draw, running back Tony Pollard ended up weaving his way through the defense to score a 23-yard touchdown to give the Titans a 17-10 lead.

Tennessee had made its way down to the 14-yard line before a false start and a holding penalty backed the team up to first-and-25. But with a couple of short passes, the team had 19 yards to go on third down and converted it with some shifty running by Pollard.

It was the running back’s third touchdown of the season.

Quarterback Will Levis also converted a fourth-and-1 play with a pass to Treylon Burks that gained 10 yards.

In all, the scoring drive lasted 14 plays, went 70 yards, and took 8:41 off the clock.

Through two quarters, the Colts and Titans look like a pair of evenly matched division rivals.

Indianapolis and Tennessee are tied 10-10 at halftime.

Making his second start for an injured Anthony Richardson, quarterback Joe Flacco got the Colts out to a 7-0 lead with a 22-yard touchdown pass to Josh Downs to cap the team’s opening possession.

But Flacco threw an interception the next time Indianapolis had the ball, with a pick to Amani Hooker on an airmailed pass to Michael Pittman. It didn’t take long for the Titans to take advantage of the extra possession, as quarterback Will Levis hit Nick Westbrook-Ikhine with a 9-yard touchdown to tie the score at 7-7.

Nick Folk hit a 44-yard field goal for the Titans early in the second quarter and Matt Gay hit a 26-yard field goal at the end of the first half to tie the game at 10 apiece.

Flacco is 10-of-19 passing for 94 yards with a touchdown and an interception.

Levis is 8-of-11 for 50 yards with a TD. DeAndre Hopkins leads with three catches for 38 yards.

After the Colts won the coin toss and elected to receive, the Titans will have the ball first in the second half.
