The Dutch domination of speed skating seems to be a divisive issue - some probably revel in observing greatness, others wonder if it might hurt the sport - but there’s no denying that it’s for real. The speed skating action wrapped up on Saturday and proved that much.

Shortly following the Netherlands’ gold medal win in the men’s (a world record performance), the Dutch women did the same with their own gold win and world record.

The 2:58.05 mark was set by Marrit Leenstra, Jorien Ter Mors and iconic skater Ireen Wuest. Here is a breakdown of their performance from Sochi’s official site:

The silver medal went to Poland while Russia took the bronze.
