The Dutch domination of speed skating seems to be a divisive issue - some probably revel in observing greatness, others wonder if it might hurt the sport - but there’s no denying that it’s for real. The speed skating action wrapped up on Saturday and proved that much.
Shortly following the Netherlands’ gold medal win in the men’s (a world record performance), the Dutch women did the same with their own gold win and world record.
