STAMFORD, Conn.Dec. 17, 2025 – Two-time NFL MVP Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens (7-7) host 2024 No. 3 overall pick Drake Maye and the AFC East-leading New England Patriots (11-3) in the Week 16 edition of NBC’s Sunday Night Football. The Patriots, in first place in the AFC East, can clinch their first postseason appearance since 2021 with a win. The Ravens need a victory to improve their playoff chances. Coverage begins at 7 p.m. ET with Football Night in America followed by kickoff at 8:20 p.m. ET from M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore Md., on NBC, Peacock and Universo.

The Ravens beat the division rival Cincinnati Bengals, 24-0, on the road on Sunday – their 30th shutout win in the past 30 seasons, tied with New England for the most since 1996. Jackson threw for 150 yards and two touchdowns, while four-time All-Pro running back Derrick Henry had 100 rushing yards. Henry has 3,046 rushing yards since joining the Ravens in 2024 and is only the fourth player in NFL history with at least 3,000 rushing yards in their first two seasons with a new team.

The Patriots fell to the Buffalo Bills, 35-31, at home on Sunday. Maye, who leads the NFL with a completion percentage of 70.9 and ranks second in the AFC in passing yards (3,567), threw for 155 yards and added 43 rushing yards and two scores on the ground in the narrow loss. Rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson, a 2025 second round pick after winning the College Football Playoff National Championship with Ohio State, rushed for a career-high 148 yards, including two touchdown runs of 52 yards and 65 yards. With those two scores, Henderson tiedSaquon Barkley for the most 50+ yard rushing touchdowns by a rookie since 2000 (four). Henderson leads all rookies in scrimmage yards (985) and is tied for the most rushing touchdowns (seven) among rookies with Ohio State teammate Quinshon Judkins of the Browns and Jaxson Dart of the Giants.

New England and Baltimore meet for the 17th time (including postseason) on Sunday night, with the Patriots holding an 11-5 advantage in the series. Their last meeting came in 2022, which the Ravens won, 37-26. These teams also met four times in the playoffs from 2009-2014, when quarterbacks Tom Brady (New England) and Joe Flacco (Baltimore) were at the helm, with each franchise winning two games.

Mike Tirico (play-by-play), Cris Collinsworth (analyst), and Melissa Stark (sideline reporter) will call Patriots-Ravens. Three-time Super Bowl referee Terry McAulay is the rules analyst for all NFL games on NBC and Peacock.

Coverage begins with the Football Night in America at 7 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock. The pregame show will feature host Maria Taylor, former Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett, three-time Super Bowl champion Devin McCourty, former NFL quarterback Chris Simms, NFL insider Mike Florio, and fantasy sports industry pioneer Matthew Berry, with Hall of Fame head coach Tony Dungy, two-time Super Bowl champion Rodney Harrison, and co-host Jac Collinsworth on-site at M&T Bank Stadium.
