Oh dear, Memphis.
Early on during Liverpool’s Europa League Round of 16 clash against bitter rivals Manchester United at Anfield, the hosts were handed a golden opportunity to take the lead from the penalty spot.
They took it.

In the 19th minute Nathaniel Clyne burst into the box and United winger Memphis seemed to pull back the Liverpool man just inside the box.
The referee, correctly, awarded a penalty kick to the Reds and a yellow card for Memphis as he looked to the sky in disbelief with the offense occurring right on the edge of the box and then continuing into the box.
Daniel Sturridge stepped up and slotted home the PK, despite David de Gea getting a touch on it, to give Liverpool a 1-0 lead.
