Kamilla Cardoso totaled nine points (4-of-7 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, four assists, one steal and two blocks in the Sky’s win over the Wings on Wednesday.
Cardoso had a somewhat unspectacular final stat line against the Wings, but managed to have a great impact in her first game back after competing in the FIBA AmeriCup for Brazil. The sophomore center came off the bench and played 24 minutes, blocking a couple of shots and, notably, finishing as one of the Sky’s leaders in assists. Cardoso’s slow integration in her return after missing four games was always a realistic possibility. For fantasy managers, hopefully, she can get up to speed quickly and perform more closely to her usual level, now that she has returned to the team. Elizabeth Williams played 22 minutes as well, and it will be hard for either to have a high fantasy ceiling if they split time like this.
