Robert Garcia blew a save while allowing three runs against the Rays on Thursday while also being credited with the loss.
Garcia was handed a 3-1 lead, but it wasn’t enough. He allowed an RBI single to Junior Caminero to make it a 4-3 game, and then a two-out single by Taylor Walls was able to score a pair and cause Garcia to blow his second save of the year. Garcia has done a solid job as the stopper for the Rangers, but he’s far from infallible. Chris Martin’s return could shorten Garcia’s leash as Rangers closer, though.
