Dennis Schröder, Zach LaVine, Nique Clifford, Isaac Jones and Drew Eubanks will start Friday’s exhibition against the Lakers.
Schröder and LaVine are the only expected starters in the lineup for Sacramento’s final game of the preseason. DeMar DeRozan, Keegan Murray and Domantas Sabonis are out due to injury, with Murray being the one guaranteed not to be available when the regular season begins next week. Of the three replacements, Clifford is the one to watch, as the rookie may be asked to take on a more prominent role, even if he comes off the bench once the games truly count.
  • PHX Guard #8

Grayson Allen (ankle) is out for Thursday’s game against the Spurs.
Allen popped up on the injury report as questionable with an ankle injury Thursday afternoon and was subsequently ruled out for the game against the Spurs. Allen’s absence won’t impact fantasy basketball much with Devin Booker and Jalen Green back, though Amir Coffey could see additional minutes off the bench.
Should NBA include a 1-on-1 tournament in ASG?
Numbers on the Board debates if a 1-on-1 tournament should be added to NBA All-Star Weekend and names some players who have showed interest in participating. They also discuss how that event can elevate All-Star Weekend.
  • MEM Guard #4
Walter Clayton Jr. (calf) is doubtful for Friday’s game against the Jazz.
Clayton missed Memphis’ final two games before the break with a right calf contusion, and he won’t be available for Friday’s game against the team that drafted him in June. With Ty Jerome and Scotty Pippen Jr. also out, Javon Small will likely enter the Grizzlies’ rotation.
  • MEM Guard #1
Scotty Pippen Jr. (toe) will not play against the Jazz on Friday.
Pippen Jr. won’t play on Friday, as he manages through his recent return from offseason toe surgery. He’s played just three games this season, posting averages of 10.7 points, 4.3 assists, 2.0 steals, and 20.0 minutes. He’s shown in his brief action that he can still be a productive player. His numbers should increase once his minutes increase.
  • IND Guard-Forward #23
Andrew Nembhard, Ben Sheppard, Aaron Nesmith, Jarace Walker and Jay Huff will start Thursday’s game against the Wizards.
Nembhard and Nesmith are back after missing the Pacers’ final game before the All-Star break, but Pascal Siakam (personal) is not. His continued absence means that Walker will get another start, while the returns of Nembhard and Nesmith push Kam Jones and Kobe Brown to the bench.
  • Collin Murray-Boyles (thumb) is available for Thursday’s game against the Bulls.
Murray-Boyles is back after missing Toronto’s final game before the All-Star break. With Jakob Poeltl and Sandro Mamukelashvili also available, the rookie may not get the minutes needed to offer excellent fantasy value. That said, playing time won’t be an issue for Murray-Boyles.
  • TOR Forward-Center #54
Sandro Mamukelashvili (ribs) is available to play against the Bulls on Thursday.
Mamukelashvili will suit up for Thursday’s contest despite previously being questionable with a rib injury. The veteran forward remains a key piece to Toronto’s bench, bringing rebounding and efficient inside-out scoring to the frontcourt. He doesn’t have high upside as far as fantasy production goes, but he should be able to put up decent production in his minutes.
  • MEM Guard-Forward #2
Ty Jerome (calf) is out for Friday’s game against the Jazz.
The Grizzlies continue to exercise caution with Jerome as he works his way back from a strained calf suffered during the preseason. With Scotty Pippen Jr. also out, the Grizzlies will rely heavily on Cam Spencer and Javon Small, with the former being the superior fantasy option.
  • MEM Guard #23
Cedric Coward (knee) is out for Friday’s game against the Jazz.
Coward hurt his knee in a game against the Nuggets before the All-Star break and subsequently miss the next game. The 22-year-old guard will remain out Friday against the Jazz. Scotty Pippen Jr. and Taylor Hendricks could see additional minutes with Coward out Friday.
  • MEM Forward-Center #7
Santi Aldama (knee) is out for Friday’s game against the Jazz.
Aldama has appeared in one game since January 26, with the Grizzlies still listing his injury as right knee injury management. Kyle Anderson was the starting center for Memphis’ final two games before the All-Star break, and he may be asked to take on that role once again on Friday.
  • BKN Forward #17
Nolan Traoré, Egor Dëmin, Michael Porter Jr., Noah Clowney and Day’Ron Sharpe will start Thursday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Porter and Clowney are back after sitting out the Nets’ final game before the All-Star break. The return of those two means that Terance Mann and Ziaire Williams will come off the bench, eliminating most of their streaming value. Danny Wolf’s playing time will also take a hit, but he offers a higher fantasy upside than Mann or Williams.
