Keyonte George amassed 27 points (10-of-23 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, eight assists, one steal and four three-pointers in Sunday’s loss to the Lakers.
After matching his season-low with 10 field-goal attempts in Friday’s loss to the Thunder, George took 23 shots on Sunday. He’s scored 27 points or more in three of his last four, continuing to exceed expectations based upon his Yahoo! ADP of 115. George is close to a top-50 player in nine-cat formats, a surprising rise for a player who ended last season as the backup point guard. While Isaiah Collier (10/1/3/1) remains a factor in the rotation, George has done enough to lock down the starting job. The Jazz play three games in Week 6, starting with the Warriors on Monday.
