Kevin Durant tallied 19 points (7-of-23 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists, three steals and one blocked shot in Thursday’s loss to the Thunder.
The Rockets had a rough night shooting the ball, making 34 percent of their field-goal attempts overall and 7-of-24 from beyond the arc. Durant missed all five of his three-point attempts, but the production in other categories, most notably rebounds and steals, should help compensate for the inefficient scoring to an extent. He’ll look to bounce back on Friday in what should be another challenging matchup, as the Rockets host the Timberwolves.

Myles Turner (calf) and Kyle Kuzma (elbow) are available for Thursday’s game against the Jazz.
Turner and Kuzma are good to go after being listed as questionable and probable, respectively, for Thursday’s game. Both will be part of the Bucks’ starting lineup, with fantasy managers hopeful that they can have productive nights against the rebuilding Jazz.
McGrady: Mitchell, Booker could get 90 points
NBA on NBC analyst Tracy McGrady joins Dan Patrick to discuss historic scoring performances, relaunching Ones Basketball League and more.
  • UTA Guard #55
John Konchar (quad) has been ruled out against the Bucks on Thursday.
Konchar was initially listed as doubtful, and he has now officially been ruled out. He only played 13 minutes on Wednesday, so Ace Bailey should just take on a few extra minutes with Konchar unavailable.
  • SAS Guard-Forward #24
De’Aaron Fox, Devin Vassell, Julian Champagnie, Harrison Barnes and Victor Wembanyama will start Thursday’s game against the Suns.
The Spurs won’t have Stephon Castle for Thursday’s game, as he’s out with a hip injury. As a result, Barnes remains in the starting lineup, with Vassell back in the fold after a one-game absence.
  • PHX Guard #23
Collin Gillespie, Jalen Green, Devin Booker, Jordan Goodwin and Oso Ighodaro will start against the Spurs on Thursday.
With Royce O’Neale (knee) sidelined for this game, Goodwin will get the starting nod. This will be his first start since before the All-Star break, but he should provide some extra defensive production in an increased role.
  • MIL Guard-Forward #7
Kevin Porter Jr. (knee) is out for Thursday’s game against the Jazz.
Initially questionable for Thursday’s game, Porter has been downgraded to out. His absence will likely lead to AJ Green returning to the starting lineup, and this should be a good matchup for the sharpshooting guard.
  • NOP Center #21
Herb Jones, Trey Murphy, Saddiq Bey, Zion Williamson and Yves Missi will start against the Clippers on Thursday.
With Dejounte Murray (Achilles) sidelined for the second leg of this back-to-back, Missi will enter the starting unit. Across Missi’s last two starts, he has averaged 4.5 blocks per game and should provide a solid dose of swats in a larger role.
  • LAC Guard #8
Kris Dunn, Jordan Miller, Derrick Jones Jr., John Collins and Brook Lopez will start Thursday’s game against the Pelicans.
The Clippers won’t have Darius Garland or Kawhi Leonard for Thursday’s game, opening two spots in the team’s starting lineup. Dunn and Miller will start, with the latter boasting a little more streaming value for those needing offensive stats.
  • CHI Center #13
Josh Giddey, Tre Jones, Collin Sexton, Matas Buzelis and Nick Richards will start against the Cavaliers on Thursday.
With Jalen Smith sidelined for the second leg of this back-to-back, Richards will get the starting nod at center. The other adjustment is Sexton entering the starting unit, which will push Leonard Miller back to the bench, though Miller should still play a significant role.
  • MIA Forward #0
Davion Mitchell, Tyler Herro, Pelle Larsson, Simone Fontecchio and Bam Adebayo will start Thursday’s game against the Lakers.
Despite Norman Powell being available for Thursday’s game, he will come off the bench. Instead, Fontecchio moves into the starting lineup, with Miami still without Andrew Wiggins (toe). Fontecchio can provide some points and three-pointers in that role, but there should be better streaming options on most waiver wires.
  • CLE Guard #45
Donovan Mitchell (eye) has been ruled out against the Bulls on Thursday.
Mitchell played through the eye contusion on Tuesday, but he struggled with his shot. He’ll get the night off to continue recovering, which will hopefully allow him to play against the Pelicans on Saturday. Jaylon Tyson will get the starting nod in his place.
