Kon Knueppel had 27 points (9-of-14 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), two rebounds, four assists and six three-pointers in Friday’s loss to the Heat.

Knueppel and the Hornets saw their winning streak snapped at the hands of the Heat on Friday 128-120. The 20-year-old shooting guard still had an excellent game, leading Charlotte with 27 points. Knueppel was 9-of-14 from the field and went 6-of-10 from behind the three-point line. He’s provided fourth-round per game value over the last two weeks. The Hornets close out Week 19 against the Suns on Sunday.

Williams sat out on Wednesday, which was the second night of a back-to-back. He’ll return to play Miami, which means Ryan Kalkbrenner and Pat Connaughton will lose minutes off the bench.

Having totaled 23 points on 10-of-25 shooting in his prior two games, Knueppel got back to his usual business on Wednesday. He led four Hornets in double figures with 20 points, shooting 50 percent from the field overall and 4-of-8 from beyond the arc. Knueppel and the Hornets play twice more in Week 19, starting with the Heat on Friday as they continue their climb up the Eastern Conference standings.

Coby White amassed 17 points (6-of-9 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), two rebounds, six assists, one steal and two three-pointers in Wednesday’s win over the Celtics.

With the trade to Charlotte and his return from a calf injury, White’s role with his new team has lowered his fantasy ceiling. However, the Hornets guard had a good night in Boston, recording excellent percentages and dishing out a team-high six assists (tied with Moussa Diabaté). Just as concerning for managers who have White rostered as his role is Charlotte’s upcoming schedule, as they’ll have another back-to-back to navigate during Week 20.

Brandon Miller tallied 18 points (8-of-13 FGs), five rebounds, two assists, three steals and two three-pointers in Wednesday’s win over the Celtics.

After only needing to play 21 minutes in Tuesday’s rout of the Mavericks, Miller logged 27 minutes as the Hornets torched the Celtics by a 118-89 final score. All that was missing from his final stat line was a blocked shot, but the efficient scoring and three steals should compensate for that. Miller and the Hornets have won six straight and are 21-8 since New Year’s Day.

LaMelo Ball finished Wednesday’s win over the Celtics with 18 points (7-of-17 FGs), seven rebounds, four assists and four three-pointers.

The Hornets have now won six straight games, with four players scoring between 17 and 20 points in Wednesday’s 118-89 blowout of the Celtics. Ball’s field-goal percentage may not have been elite, and the assist tally was a bit low. However, Wednesday’s game was his third this season without a turnover, with two being recorded after the All-Star break. Ball as an efficient playmaker makes the Hornets a dangerous team and increases his value in nine-cat formats.

White sat out against Dallas on Tuesday, but he’ll be available to take on Boston. Sion James and Josh Green were the primary perimeter options off the bench, but White will occupy that role in this game.
